I have to disagree with you, you need to read over the constitution of Egypt, Art.2 "Islam is the Religion of the State. Arabic is its official language, and the principal source of legislation is Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharia)"

I do not blame religion for anything, however i am searching for the main cause. Look into the constitution of any civilized country and tell me if they mention religion...
