  • i can't to learn this!

The person up is Kru CHAN Bunthoeun, father of Rotana. He has big knowledge of Authentic Khmer Martial Arts.

  • The title of this video : "Bokator - visiting a Bokator master outside of Phnom Penh".

Kickboxersjourney, YOU DID NOT USE GOOD WORLD.

This master teached you "Komyuth" and not "bokator". He is the father of Rotana. Rotana is "Komyuth" student and fighter in "Prodal Sery" or "Kun Khmer".

Look at video on this channel "boxkator75116" that defines what's is the "bokator".

  • These guys are amazing. They're fast and their demonstration shows a bit of strength and power. These Cambodians are very well trained.

This is seriously amazing technique and these guys are very good at what they do, and have great control.

btw, is the guy speaking a Australian or Kiwi?

  • were is this school located?

  • @teamkvs

The school is on the road which goes from Phnum Penh to Takhmao.

    Place: chak Ang Rea Krom,

You stop in front of Sokimex (a station of gasoline). Ask people in front of that Sokimex : " Kla Hoh club " of kru CHAN Bunthoeun, father of CHAN Ratana, "komyut" student and fighter in "prodal serey ".

You will learn real and authentic Khmer Martial Art.

Do not confuse with the Academy of Bokator that is not Authentic Khmer Martial Art School.

  • @komphor - Academy of Bokator - is that the one taught by San Kim Saen? If so, what do you think of him? Do you practice martial arts? I live in PP now.

  • @gomergilligan - I don’t think but I’m sure that M. SKS had never practised the authentic Khmer Martial Art. You can ask the same question to the referees of prodal serey. These referees call M. SKS, M. bokator. They laugh of him because they say that “bokator” is a thing created by M. SKS.

  • @gomergilligan - I have never listened in a detailed way who is Khmer Martial Art Teacher of M. SKS, the name of his teacher, the place where he learnt his bokator, how long he learnt this bokator, how many students learnt this bokator at the same time with M. SKS, etc....

Other krus answer in a natural way these questions.

  • @gomergilligan - Before, “bokator” videos were the only ones in Internet. Now, there are other videos that show Khmer Martial Art under another way.

I recognize these videos, for example " Khomyuth ", " Khmer Kbach Kun Boran " like Authentic Khmer Martial Art. I’m khmer, I know what is authentic khmer or not.

Many of old teachers of Khmer M. Art in Cambodia in the countryside are angry of M. SKS bokator. They know that bokator is not the original Khmer Martial Art. But they can not protest.

  • @komphor yea but he promoted it.

  • You can have more informations with Khomyuth Teacher like Father of Rothana in Kla Hoh Club.

If you have money and time to lose, you can train in Bokator Academy and compare with Kla Hoh Club or others Khomnyth Clubs in Cambodia.

    I do practise “Prodal serey”.

    Good Stay in Phnom Penh.

  • @gomergilligan - Please, see this video. It's very interesting."Ka pro kout lbok lbèrng" on youtube.

  • @komphor What are you yapping about? M. SKS is doing a good thing for his Khmer people. Just give those thoughts you have a rest.

  • @megamunchit2008

I do not yat. I am only putting back words of the krus in Cambodia who can not use Internet and they say like that.

Tell me a humanitarian action that mister SKS made in Cambodia for the Khmers people ? Except for business with his bokator ?

Khmers in the countryside are furious with his bokator. Mister SKS is falsifying history of Khmer martial heritage. I am not the only one to think so and we have proofs. Mr SKS spoke about Hapkator two years ago for his bokator.

  • @komphor Where is your proof? I'm not saying you're wrong, but I want to see your proof. Also, what humanitarian action has any of the krus you met in Cambodia who's done some of their own? To me, it just sounds like a bunch of jealous Cambodians. Always hating on each other instead of helping each other! But, if you can show me your proof, I will accept what you said. Until then, M. SKS is right. On a side note, I also think that the name Bokator is made up to. I have my doubts.

  • bokator is a system of fighting with aggressive animals dating back about millenniums ago; i'm not sure whether other forms of martial art deal with the same thing; can anyone tell about the relationship between bokator and any other one?

  • I like the way he kicks through the head!

  • how much do they charge to train there?

  • I don't believe Kun Khmer was from China. I haven't seen anything related at all.

  • @MyNameBaboo , the roots of all martial arts are either from chinda or india. like everything else these countries influenced most of the ancient asian kingdoms

  • @ladyboylizard Yea you got a point ladyboylizard, it was developed in 257 A.D. by Saktékori. Hey do you know any styles similar to Kbach Kun Boran Khmer?

  • @MyNameBaboo ,kun khmer is the modern version of kun boran which i think you already knew

  • outta curiousity where can i find this place? im going to cambodia sometime next year
