I went to a WWF PPV back in 1998 and saw The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, LOD, Kane, Owen Hart, Vader, and a bunch of other big wrestling names, but the one thing I remember most about that event was looking over at the titantron and seeing this video when Dude Love came out. Hilarious stuff.

If you want to get into circumstances, then what about the fact that Hulk Hogan only became famous because of Rocky 3. He was still green when he left AWA.

Attitude era even with Wal-Mart didn't sell 2x as more or as much as the Golden era did. And the fact about Hogan was wrong. Hogan was popular in the AWA but the reason he left AWA was because of money issues with the promoter Verne Gagne. Hulk Hogan was already a star before he left AWA, WWF was where he made his star really take off.
