  • @ BurkeHare1 : -_-'

  • guess one can't tell a joke when you see one

  • That's a bit shit to be honest.

It would take decades to build anything with that.

  • no a couple of hours to be a bit honest

  • Come on eh.

Are you trying to say one could get anywhere trying to build a house with that. It would take about 75 years just to excavate for the foundations.

It appears to be tiny and could probably only carry one stone at a time.

    Hopeless.

  • @BurkeHare1 well, it's only a toy after all. I don't think the people at LEGO meant to actually build a piece of construction equipment out of plastic beams and joints. It's just supposed to be fun to pick up other LEGO parts and small items. If you get more parts you can even stay on your couch and control it remotely :D (darned expensive PF components :(.. )

  • i have this one, but one of the ball joint axel connectors that are used at the bend in the crane broke... ugh. they should have put an extra in... ;(

  • great model. Did it grab "lego soil"? what is it made from?

  • Technic pins. :o

  • need one more to curl the bucket, then it'd be realistic

  • tupe62 add some lights at his model 8294. you can do this, too

  • 8294+8293, right?

  • Yes, that's it. :)

    And I did some others mods : [3w][dot]setechnic[dot]com/For um/topic837[dot]html

  • nice work man

  • i have this set too!

  • Hi, have you aded the power functions to this model?

  • they look like chocalate chips

  • Hey Setechnic Hows it going happy early october setechnic. I was sondering are the lenier cylinders strong on the this new lego technic exscavator 8294. by Thankf or letting me give you a good scare you need it sometimes if you don't understand i'am tring to be nice to you. By

  • Hi,

    Call me Anio. :)

Actually, setechnic is just the name of my website.

Besides, I haven't understood everything you have written... :(

Hum, linear actuator are quite strong. On the 8294, they work perfectly (with or without PFS). On the 8295, it is not as much efficient (the tan gear behind is hard to turn).

  • real power functions as in like motorised bulldozer functions

  • What's that black thing in the box?

Cool model wish it would be easier to insert real power functions.

  • It is just pins in the box ! ^^

What do you mean by "real power functions" ?

    Using IR ?

  • cool

  • did u customize the levers or did it come like that?

  • Well seen ! I have changed the position of the switch (it is very easy to do it, you just have to add some studfull parts).

Besides, it is possible to add a 24t gear to turn the turntable.

    Look at this : [3w][dot]setechnic[dot]com/Forum/viewtopic[dot]php?t=837

    :)

  • where do i look at [3w][dot]setechnic[dot]com/Forum/viewtopic[dot]php ?t=837. what aer studfull parts

  • awesome!!!!!!!

  • you realy should vit a sensor and remote control to that, be so much more fun =D

  • from 00:47 to 00:52 the music is pretty scary and to ask you something where do you get the whole money for this?

i was searching for "Meeting setechnic paart1" i found something others and i saw there 3 old 4X4 off roaders duuuuuuuude

  • Yes, we had 3 4x4 #8466, 2 excavator #8294, 2 telehandler #8295, 2 #8273, 1 #8880, and many other model...

You can look at my Brickshelf gallery (my nickname is Anio, then, SeTechnic/Others/Meeting).

PS : for the money, that's nobody's business but mine. ;)

  • is that the new one

  • Yes it is !

But the 8294 is motorised only if you have the 8293 (switch, motor M, battery box, clutch)

  • dam i don't have

    but i do want one

  • If you want to see the SeTechnic's meeting, research the video named "Meeting setechnic part1" on Youtube !

    Enjoy !

  • There is no pneumatic ; only linear actuators.

  • what do you mean?

it is air though that moves the arms?

  • To move the arm, is use an axle (and a gear box). Actually, the linear actuators work just like a worm screw.

  • have this one new pneumatics?

  • May be. But I won't do a video just for that. :)

  • Are You going to make that remote control in the future.

  • I collect Lego Technic model since 2005.

But I play with Lego since 1990 (approximately).

Look at the Lego shop at home : the modele is available in Germany ! ;)

  • Hi,

unfortunately the modell 8294 is at the end of august available in germany.

    or via online ordering....

    GRRRRRR thats s*cks

since when you collect lego-technic modells ?

  • Hi,

hava you added power function ?

  • Yes !

The building instructions explain how to add the kit 8293. :)

This model is much more fun with PFS !

  • Yes,

In the genuine model there is no power function part. But the building instruction explain how to add them.
