@snafuedem Actually what I realized recently is that he plays this a half step down in the Massey Hall version. So first tuned down to DGCFAD, then capo on 1st fret. The tuning I've got here is still EADGBE, I just had it tuned down a full step to play other things. Prefer this anyway because the strings are more loose.
I've watched the intro done 5 different ways on Youtube and your the first to do it exactly the way that Neil does it. Good job! Can you tell me what the strumming/picking pattern is up at the 5th fret?

@glooryboy69 Yes, half step down for the Massey Hall version. You can achieve this by tuning down a full step, and placing a capo on the first fret.
