  • A properly designed transmitter can broadcast from 88-108 without interfering with ANY safety of life services. The problem is harmonic interference from badly designed transmitters broadcasting on the main intended frequency plus multiples of that frequency, these harmonics are what can potentially interfere as the entertainment FM (band 2 VHF) is nowhere near emergency service radio freq's.

  • Lets be honest there are loads of pirate stations out there and have been for years and I never seen a plane fall from the sky because of them. I suppose the truth doesn't always make good news!
