@IamPUREEEE Yes, I agree. I was watching a show where they were talking about the amount of hormones and chemicals we use from shampoos to soaps that we flush down our drains, go into the water systems and many frogs/fish are now born with both sex organs. It's a matter of time before this happens to us since we're drinking the water back up and the companies like cosmetic ones dont even have to label all the chemicals they use. God knows whats in our waters now....
They were supposed to be born separately but the momma got some problems and had to give birth to one baby with different appearances. It's like when a momma gets skin disease before givin' birth.
The pacific tree frog can get tapeworms when they are tadpoles and when they grow up the worms cause them to grow extra legs. Not sure about these mutations tho lol
Actually no, if you look closely at the frogs, you'll see that the two larger ones on the top are connected to the smaller one that you believe to be the female. The larger two have no front legs and the skin on their throats directly connects to the back of the smaller one.
Ok guys dont be so quick to blame humans in all this, particularly in reptiles and amphibians mutations like this happen alot comparatively to humans. I have to admit the three headed toad is something id never expect but that one seem adult to me and probably can live pretty well, it didn't seem malnourished or dysfunctional, though I would of liked to see it hop around a little, it must be a lot of weight.
Bah, it's not that the tortoise has "two heads" or the frog has "three heads"....they're two or three animals who haven't separated properly, like Siamese twins. They're not miracles; they can't lead normal lives and it's sad.
@Ywiss for humans thats true, but these are animals.. no1 taunts them if they have 2 or 3 heads, they are given special attention for being unique and loved especially because of it, so if anything lead better lives.
They aren't suffering; if you're born like that then thats your normal life, if you havn't known anything but having two heads or four ears then thats normal.
If anything they probebly can't fathom life without their extra heads.
And even so animals with more then one head tend to split the body down so they can function properly. Everything usually tends to work out better then people give it credit for.
Oh , so you are basically trying to say that these animals are "happy" and have no problem in their life! Hmmm.... I assume you wouldn't think like this if you had to live like them just for one single day.
I'm saying is that they lived their entire lives like that: if they lived for one day like me they wouldn't be able to handle not having another head.
Just like I couldn't handle having two heads because it'd be so annoying.
They are happy, they're happy in their own ways.
If you had a brother you loved and you grew up with wouldn't you be sad if he died?
Like-wise if you have two heads wouldn't you be immensly sad and lonely if you now were seperated?

The frog was actually a result of heavy pollution. It's amazing how we do such stupid shit like merge 3 frogs together...

That is 2 male frogs who have both grasped a female. Neither will let go until they have mated with her.

@saranghaeyo99 No. If you look closely when the frogs are being held up, you can see the 'fingers' of one of the males under the females chest.

most of these are babies .
i wonder if they will live their hole life because ,
yes , they can live with extra members but siamese do have disfunctional organs and some of them would not survive without medical attention

this is sad, these animals can't leave normal lives, and humans are the cause of these malfunctions

@mamaluigitoyou I can see your point but I think that the title "Miracle Animals" is misleading.

@Ywiss well i guess its a miracle they survived with these deformations but they seem to be just like any other pets accept cared for even more :)
