Rules and laws are applied for those who violate law. Marriage is a sacred act between two people Man and Woman. If the two couple (man and woman) decide to live together it is a must to get married wether they choose not to have offspings or incase they are not capable in reproduction. gays can get married but without the blessings of GOD! can they reproduce and build a basic society Husband Wife and Children?

There are many gay Christians in this country, who believe in Jesus and who also believe in the sanctity of marriage and would like to have their relationships sanctified in churches. I just wanted to make that clear, since ppl are always assuming that Christians are anti-gay as if not one of them could actually be bi or gay themselves!! :) There are also quite a few gay and gay-friendly churches.

This couple were the only ones that managed to get married in the 4 hour window that same-sex marriages were allowed before the judge put a stay on his order back in August. None of the other couples managed to get married and file their paperwork before the stay went into affect.

This is the only couple who got legally married in the very brief window between when the district court judge ruled and when he issued a stay on his decision back in 2007. The Iowa Supreme Court's decision filed on April 3 that settles the original lawsuit should go into effect on April 24.

i get your point and i'd agree in most cases but i think when its regarding civil rights there are exceptions. most civil rights we expect today would not have been granted by popular vote, plus this is appropriate in Iowa which is actually a leader in civil rights.
yes if put to a vote it would probably lose since but apparently inn Iowa as with Massachusetts it takes longer to take stuff put on the ballot if at all, ppl might be used to it by then. Massachusetts tried that and failed

When I say lifestyle, I mean that for example gays are acting/living out their homosexual attraction and love openly towards another gay person and share their love and show it outwardly (just as a heterosexual couple are walking on the street, hand in hand. I don't like that because homosexual couples will receive hostility if they dared to do that on the street. Depends, not so in amsterdam and other cities
