Jobs clearly foremost had CHARISMA. Then he utilizes what we call an IMPROMPTU type speech (no notes or teleprompters) WIth that he utilized 3 most important things in delivering a presentation. . . ENTHUSIASM , VITALITY , & SINCERITY. Also, note his VOLUME, RATE, PITCH, & INFLECTION. You can also bet that Jobs may have utilized any key variables to assist him, such as voice coaches, speech writers, and HOW TO books.

When I mention SPEECH WRITERS, I don't mean he had the whole thing written for him. Speech writers are just another tool to make a presentation that much better. They suggests certain words, phrases, and sentence structures to refine it. Heck, I think Jobs was more than capable of giving a presentation on the fly and wing it!

Your other book gave me the inspiration to quit my job and start my own business. I asked myself for months what I was passionate about and once I knew I moved in that direction without looking back. Everything Steve did he was passionate about. I had no idea many of the things about Steve Jobs and Apple. I came to respect him and his work through reading your book.

If everyone followed Steve Jobs, it would be the end of PowerPoint as most people use it. Nature does not abhor a vacuum as much as industry hates unused space on a PPT slide. It encourages anesthetic data-dumping. Less is more. The purpose of a presentation is INSPIRATION, not EDUCATION. No one does it better than Steve.

Steve Jobs doesn't make the products at a presentation, he just doesn't break them.

People rate apple because apple have delivered wicked product after wicked product. Jobs will tease you, and have you salivate, but it's the products which sell themselves. That's why they can be presented in such a minimal & clear style and be alluring.

Sure, steve jobs gives you the walkthrough, he's clear because he lives & breathes computers.

Apple was founded upon the concept that computers should be for everybody not just nerds, an idea from xerox parc.

His presentation style is simply an expression of that: KISS. Keep it simple, stupid. However, pro-advertisers are actually much better at this than jobs, they work in a 15 second format.

@misticity24 Maybe if you're idea of a good product is lackluster hardware in a pretty case. The only polish is on the device itself, the hardware is laughable, they are extremely fragile, and all Apple products are stupidly expensive. Steve Jobs fanboys need to realize that they are paying hundreds of dollars more for a pretty chrome finish.

that's what I thought... until I tried to build myself a hackintosh which would pwn a mac pro. It ended up costing more, and being way dodgier.

Apple these days are price competitive, they manufacture in such huge volumes that they get the best prices. The idea that apple has a premium pricetag is from the motorola/IBM days.

OK, macbook air is a joke, but aside from that...

Samsung was producing the chips of Apple, but Apple moved away from Samsung, because Samsung decided to copy the iPhone (Intel is producing chips for Apple at the moment). So don't compare a copy, Samsung Galaxy, with the original, iPhone.

@jmsanzg You just don't have the eye for quality. If you're really a music lover or an audiophile, you know that the sound quality on iPods is far better than most MP3 players out there. And you don't know this until you try good quality high resolution music using good quality headphones on your player. You need to have a Ear for the quality. Thats just one of the examples of how apple makes better products.
