  • Not too long after this aired, KWGN ditched this logo. Do you have anything with their 2003-2005 graphics?

  • @WizardDuck If you search for "Tamara Banks", you'll find her demo reel in which you can see some of that package. The logo was very weird and the entire look only lasted a year. It was gone by late 2004.

  • @char615 Actually, they ditched it in March 2005 (the final WB-era logo was introduced the previous month and phased out the 2003 logo).

  • @WizardDuck That may be correct, but I recall the red and gold era coming in around late 2004 along with Asha Blake as primetime anchor. I don't have any proof, but that's the way I remember it.

  • Although, In-Sink wasn't bad, Firepower sure fit them to a T.

  • This was how my nights were when we had Dish Network - I'd watch PIX11 News at 10:00 (NY), then go to WB2 News at 11, then try and stay up long enough to catch KTLA News at 1:00 am. [note all times are EST]. This was what I remember - Ernie and Wendy, the plain backdrop with the WB2 light, the awesome graphics, those time cards [that tell you what stories will be at what time], and that special Tribune closing logo at the end.

  • The set was laid out rather interestingly. Behind this mini-set is the side of the morning set, which you could somewhat make out when they had frosted glass separating the two mini-sets. Later, they had those poster-walls on wheels that they would wheel away in the morning. And across the hall was a much bigger studio space that they didn't really use until 2005.
