Libraries tend to be a bit underfunded today, as they have been in the past. I don't see why that wouldn't hold true for the future. Yeah a 166 year old bookmobiel is a little absurd, but perhaps by then all libraries are run on a voulenteer basis. Perhaps the bookmobile is a family car, or an antique.

You want to talk about history?? We've all seen (although some have ignored) what socialism and communism has done to the world over the last century or more. I prefer to base my judgments on that kind of data more than fluctuations in the markets over the last few weeks. Never mind that there are many specific factors causing the current financial situation that have little to do with our capitalistic system. One of the root causes is the government-sponsored housing assistance system.

Yeah, it's been like 23 years since I've watched this! Serious subject material for little kids, almost like they expected us to grow up in an apocalypse.
