I think this is a prequal. You often see Barbosa in English navy uniform. Possibly this is before/ during he was Jack's first mate. I mean, it would explain why orlando or keira arent there.

Why is Barposa saying "King's Men" in 2:23, and wearing those fancy clothings. IS HE NOT A PIRATE, ANYMORE? I thought he stole the Black Pearl and stayed as Captain in Movie 3.

@MrTimmayProductions I think that at the beginning of the trailer where you hear the guy say "you can guide an expedition", that in the movie that guy will be talking to Barbosa who has likely been recruited to the King's Navy as Captain of the Pearl.

My theory is that the King is also searching for the Fountain of Youth and for some reason is pitting Barbosa against Sparrow on purpose.

@MrTimmayProductions Notice the emphasis on how he says his line. He says "Are we not king's men?" OR "Are we not King's, men?" depending on how you analyze it, he is saying something completely different each time. 1st version: Are we not loyal to the Navy? 2nd version: Are we not more powerful than them? Notice the disgusted look on the Naval officers face behind him as he says this line. I hope that this has cleared things up for you.

Unbelivably awesome!!!It's gonna be the best one out of all three!!!But they shouldn't have added the sneak peak at the beginning...because it kinda ruins the realism...you know, like in the 60's when characters speak to the audience as if they know they're being shot with a camera!
