how did you get the classic interface mixed in with velious - specifically the stuff with sit/camp/walk/etc in the bottom right corner ? as well as the casting time art and when you looted it had the classic loot interface.
If I had a mill plat I would probably blow it at the casino. I had a Guise on my monk alt but got banned =/. I have been thinking about getting back into EQ, try out a different class on a classic server, maybe Wiz/Necro. Are there Mercs for hire on the Classic server?

@sooperlovin I never played a shaman on eqlive myself,i tried it on the free server and leveled it up.
It isn't the same though because on the free servers,it seems that warriors dominate all classes and then you have op sks and op paladins.Its actually quite ridiculous since pallies can heal themselves for as much as a cleric and do uber dmg.
Bards during kunark era are ridiculous during kunark,They had a good charm and ridiculously powerful dots during the kunark era.
1:Nothing good lasts forever,especially bard dots and bard charm which both got nerfed to death.
2:Bards have to work extra hard to gain respect and a good bard stands out far more than a bad wizard.I wasn't the best bard.A bard is a official puller and you have to get your facts straight about pulling in a zone and how to pull because things only get harder and more frustrating.
3:In a dungeon you will be one of the first to die because you are puller.
If you aren't the puller and you are deep in a dungeon,you are still going to die because you can't use sow and enemies summon and stun and hit so hard that you will die in a flash.
4:People don't appreciate being helped to get xp fastter from a bard.If you heal them as a cleric or rez them,sure they will love you,but if you pull a mob and it resists mez and you die and 1 of them dies because the mob resists or if you make a mistake,they will hate you for eternity.
Why play on an emulated server that could go down at any point, when you could play on the legit classic EQ server owned by SOE. Just google "EQ mac" and see their forums about how to contact Sony to join. Yes, there is a monthly fee and requires you to own a mac OS. No, it doesn't cost you a penny to download and you get 30-60 days free to play.
project 1999 and eq emulator not only lets you play everquest classic, but you can play everquest current too. Its free and yes you can play it now, and alot of people are playing it. Alot of people are already level 50s. If you go on the website, they will tell you how to install it and what are the steps to get the servers.

I remember that zone when it was called desert of ro but now they changed it and changed the zone whare it Looks completely different!.
I remember playin EQ Beta back in 1998 and the grephics then were...bleh But was hooked on it none the less.
