if you ask me nothing compares to this version with Pink Floyd, especially the zoom in (direcly from the point where you see the visible universe, flatout amazing!!)
Yeah I see what you mean, if there is infinity then the totality of the universe beyond what we could even imagine is still just a speck, and in the surrounding massiveness of that speck, it would still just be a speck. Does my head in lol.
The most amazing part of it all for me is how much like the large universe the inside of an atom appeared. Reminds me of something Billy Connelly said once about how our universe could just be an atom inside the leg of a chair inside a greater universe.
Yeah, no proof but very fun to speculate. Like my craziest theory is that each quantam particle that blips in and out of existance is actually a mini-universe unto-itself, just relatively small compared to ours, and that it blips in and out of existance because it is going through a Big Crunch, expansion / collapse cycle, only on a relavitely faster time scale. :S
yes, exactly. and the biggest dimensions we can think of (or even do not dare to imagine) are molecular parts of bigger entities we do not know of and never will.
that always lets me to think about EVERYTHING beeing relative to the human mind where in reality everything is unlimited. But we creatures of this nature have the perception to acknowledge limits and and scarcity.
limits in size and limits in time. This is what we humans can think of in this planet. (continued)
but if you think think of the classical dimensions, regardless of the ""coordinates" we define "here and now", you somehow must feel and think everything being unlimited.
"unlimited" is something not defined and not experienced in the closer nature we experienced on this planet...
maybe thats why humans cant imagine infinite numbers in reality - maybe thats why we think there was a "big bang" but no one can think of what was before and why it happened.
we only can see and describe things which are relatively near to our reality.
imagine we are the number 9023457612378512847098231874786342 (...)
and our science is cabaple to describe +-500
there is no way to see the rest even if our science is capable to see +-5000000000000. because thats still not all and never will-the numbers are unlimited, the resources for science in our world are not.
Thumbs up please. My Teacher is looking at this >:D

too bad there is no proof for either of the theories
