Mina is from the Archie Comics. She is a mongoose that can run fast like Sonic. She's also a singer, and Sonic saw her as "girlfriend material" however, he went with Sally instead. Now Mina is dating Ash, her manager.

Technically Sonic never chose anyone, although he liked both Mina and Sally. Mina, who was already insecure about her relationship about Sonic because she never knew he liked her assumed that by Sonic kissing Sally the reason was because his heart was already in a commitment. She has stayed with Ash largely do to this assumption, and fear of failure.

but your forgeting the break up a year after mina saw sally and sonic kiss this almost killed ash and made sonic jealous. when ash was in the hospital sonic walked in and saw mina and ash kiss this made him cry and give up trying to impress her or loving her
