Catching Bluegill

I don't really catch bluegill except at minnesota. I like to catch largemouth bass or baby bass. they are really fun.

he should go for the channel catfish that would be a better experiecne for the kids. blue gill are alright but they dont give any fight

@Noemovies I don't know where you live but anywhere I've fished the big 1+ lb bluegill always seem to be more of a fight with ultralight than big bass. They're much quicker. Not bein rude just stating my opinion. Have had some good bass fights too. But pound for pound bluegill fight great

ok sunfis,bluegill poppieseed are easy to catch best during hot weather have a 2-3 feet leader and a smallhook with waxworms it is really easy. i dont really like to fish them though cause they are like weeds here in mn
