It does 126+mph = 203km/h 1/8 mile and 150+mph = 241km/h in the 1/4-mile...

With highway gearing I have never tried for top speed but have had it to 176mph on GPS = 283km/h...

It would be but IT had a freek accident.

Was riding it to a friends house to go to SEMDRA race...

Bike was VERY low...When I turned at an intersection it bottomed out...I didn't think anything of it until the motor seized 2-miles down the road :(...

I had 18Lbs. of lead bolted to the frame under motor...the lead hit the road and moved just enough to break off the Oil-pressure switch!?!?!? Light didn't come on because of broken switch...pumped out the oil and seized...CRAP!!!

OEM carbs...

Fuel pressure rises 1:1 with boost...carb bowls are pressurized with boost also...

Thought I was going to have to inject it to get it to run "right" but many MANY hours on dyno AND finding pitot-tube idea on internet to pressurize bowls TOTALLY solved all running issues...

The gauge is connected to intake on engine side of Carb butterflies so any time the engine has vacuum the gauge see it...

Showroom Stock ZRX1200R = 116Hp 74FtLb torq.

Same bike with Full Exhaust, Air Box Mod and Ivan's Jet Kit = 131Hp 84FtLb torq. $1,000 to $1,500+ installed depending on exhaust and labor cost...

Bike in video with Turbo = 235Hp 156FtLb torq. at 14-15 PSI boost...

Boost above 8PSI requires Race Gas and or Ign. timing retarded...I use both to be safe...

Daily ridden with Pump Gas at 8PSI boost = 190Hp 130torq....

This Turbo kit was about $2,500 and I installed it myself...

I have run many 0-127mph 1/8-mile runs in 6.0 seconds and many 0-150mph 1/4-mile runs in 9.2 to 9.4 seconds...

I have never tried for actual max speed...176mph (on GPS) is the fastest I've gone this bike...

Because ZRX doesn't have Fairings...It FEELS as fast at 150mph as a Busa or ZX12-14 does at 180-190+mph...I know because I've ridden all of them...

1:14 you see the "kill cord" blow across very bottom left to right...I hooked it to the KEY RING @ 1:21 (while coasting OMG!) so the Plastic Clip wouldn't bounce off the gas tank AGAIN...

Key Fob disappears again @ 2:54 because it took TWO 20-MINUTE RIDES to make this 6-minute video...several cuts but nothing is fake...

So...just...ENJOY the Ride...like I DID!!!

Yes it does Spike but only to 17 for an instant...It Spikes because this is an AeroCharger with VANES...not a WasteGate...they react differently...

14boost is no where near 20...

Do you know your Kaw.s??? ZRX is only 116Hp out of the box with low compression compared to 636. ZRX weighs 100Lb more and is as AreoDynamic as a BRICK compared to any bike with fairings .They are SLOW compared to most SportBikes. Low 11s to mid 10s @ less than 130mph 1/4-mile is the norm (watch ZRX1200R 1/4 mile Gainesville Raceway video). This ZRX runs 9.20s @ 150+mph not slow...for ZRX.

Nothing is fake in any of my videos .they are what they are.

I have a stock 2001 zrx1200s....modding it slowly...yet steadily.... as they say in zrxoa, "Making your Rex better, one nut at a time."

It still is PLENTY of fun on stock...but some mandatory mods if you wanna enjoy the full potential of your zrx.... a full system exhaust, jet kits, air pods, advancer, fork bracers and ohlins :)

Yes very much as easy as it looks but NOT for a "beginner" unless it is Showroom Stock to start with.

THIS bike has double the Hp and Torq as a stock ZRX and would EASILY loop over backwards at 80-100+ MPH without PRECISE throttle CONTROL ;)

THIS speedo is 7% off...

However...watch my "1/4 mile run" and you will see a 9.23-second 0-148.6MPH run that was run in 100*AirTemp...track was 140*...

I have multiple 1/4 mile Time Slips 151+mph...
