  • Joseph Seal played a fabulous version of this piece on the old Wurlitzer at the ABC Cinema Kingston-upon-Thames. It is the first track on his album entitled: Joseph Seal At The Wurlitzer Plays Family Favourites Volume Three.

  • Oh How I remember as alittle boy,GLUED to the TV watching Dr.Finlays Casebook. Dr.Cameron, Dr. Finlay,Dr. Snoddy and of course, who can forget Janet

  • This music was composed by Trevor Duncan and it was used as the theme tune for Dr Finlay's casebook in the 1960's. He also composed Girl from Corsica around the same time and this was used as the theme music to the BBC serial 'The Scarf'. Both brilliant pieces of music.

  • @Mul8berry Yes, Trevor Duncan was his pseudonym; his real name was: Leonard Charles Trebilcock. ( Later shortened to Trebilco. ) He continued composing up until his death in 2005, aged 81.

  • I was intrigued to search for this mysterious composer.I was surprised that this familiar piece was composed by a guy who was once married to my dad's cousin. I'm fascinated to discover more about Leonard and his compositions.
