i dont know how to read any of the signals, just say i wanna tune my bass to 1/2 step down, what am i lookin for in terms of numbers, letters and little b things, how do i get it set up to search those notes and how do i know when im there because i can get the needle in the middle a whole bunch of different ways on the same string..

if you want really fine tuning... but the korg ca-1 and the korg cm-100L... if you buy the cm 100L you can put it on your guitar head (in the top) and it becomes a acoustic electric guitar :D im in love with it... plus i can tune my guitar and violin very precisely.

but you can tune every instrument with that 2 things at the perfection... btw sorry for my english lol

once you learn to tune by ear, you will be that much richer from saving on tuners :).

The tuner has a built in mic. don't have to plug it in.

you have to plug it in if you have an electric guitar...

or just plug your electric guitar into an amp and tune it without plugging it into the tunner...

acoustic guitar don't need anything,just play and tune

@TKBCT23 just keep randomly tuning your guitar until the tuner says the right string it could mean its way too flat or way too sharp
