@grayday16 for the PCI version, check out geeks(dot)com. it is there for $15 as of right now. I recommend pretty much anything else you can find these days unless you are absolutely limited to only a PCI slot and only have $20 to spend
@grayday16 you can find it on geeksdotcom for 15 clams+shipping. Really, I would recommend any other interface and pretty much any card you can find on a retail site for better performance. But for that 15, it is a thing of beauty.
Hey, I'm getting an new processor and graphics card. I am sure that my NVidia Geforce 440 with AGP8X can run the game( I've tried and it went with up to 40 fps)
I will get an GeForce 6800 GT, or something like that, and an AMD Athlon 2.6 Dual Core processor. Can Team Fortress 2 run on max settings with up to 40 fps?
and i have a geforce fx5500 and theres no text in the menu of the game and the fps is low so i was wondering about your card. you can probably google the system requirements to see if you can run it.
I have a Intel Celeron 2.4 and a sucky intel 82845 and my videos are laggy and i was wondering should i upgrade the processor and the graphics card or just the card
oh my... you might as well get a new computer. the money you put into getting a new graphics card and processor would be a waste compared to saving for a better computer :/ ..i know from experience :(
I bought the card hoping it would allow me to play games like Dawn of War and Age of Mythology smoothly. No such luck. And I'm still stuck using it on my 9 year old windows xp home edition. 2D games are all I have...
bad. i ran it on my dell 2400 (P4 3.06ghz HT 2gb ram) with a Newer PCI gfx card (HD 2400) and got horrible frames.. like 10-20 if i remember correctly, with low settings :(
my newer rig plays it at 100fps maxed out 4x AA :0
I was at walmart today, they have a visiontek x1300 card there for 100 dollars on sale from 130 bucks LMFAO. PCI cards are expensive, good thing i am buying my last one which is also 100 bucks soon, its the bfg 8400gs.
when u load a video game and u see that bar that says loading loading loading... it is loading all the data it needs into your ram so.. having a slow hard drive has nothing to do with why your performance is sucking balls, sence the game is loaded into your ram it means your comp either sucks balls, or that vid card sucks balls... i had that vid card years ago and it sucks balls
i've bought two secand hand video cards on the web , but they were damaged (ati hd2400 and geforce6200) there are a lot of swindler on internet who sell damaged graphic cards

The Minimum you need is a 9800 gt depending on the resolution u wanna run.If you only have pci slots then get a new computer man.haf life 2 came out way after your computer cuz i have a dell dimension 3000 and its fast but its not for gaming. a new compaq will be better for gaming.i reccomend ebay cuz they got exellent computer prices. remember to look for a pc that has pci express x16 slot. if ur on a budget then your gonna want a radeon hd 2900 xt or preferrably a Radeon hd 3870
im excited to get this card, i ordered it, its not the best, but ALOT better than what i have. currently have life 2 gets like 10 fps at the lowest settings, i think it was like the first video card ever or sumthing lol, im excited to see detail on the gravity gun!
currently i believe it is the Albatron Geforce 8600GT PCI w/ HDMI output, look at their website its there. but good luck ever getting a hold of one!! haha
dam i didnt know it could play that...yea i had a ATI X1300 i got to play fable and painkiller on it, everything at low setting though.....so is thier a difference bewteen them!...
i just bought a diamond hd 2400 256mb ddr2 pci graphics card and im hoping to get a boost from my graphics now which is intel 845gv integrated graphics
where did u find a 3.0 processor for your dell??...i got a dell 2400 or 2200 and 516 or 512 8600GS nividia geforce!!! and 1.128 gb of ram for it so, i jus need a stronger porcessor for it.....oh yea the dell is a 2.0 ghz
Hey I also use a Dell 2400 to play games LOL. But my graphics card is a VisionTek x1300 but its basicly the same and the Diamond one you have. Your CPU beats mine since is just a normal 2.5Ghz P4. At least the ram for it is cheap at ebay.
if you are in the UK, i HIGHLY suggest you buy the Sparkle 8500GT 256mb PCI card. its not sold in the US and it disappoints me that it isnt because that card will smoke the X1300 in a longshot.
do not bother getting this card. TRUST ME. if u plan on getting a pci graphics card, get the HD2400 256mb, OR if ur an ebay user, pay the extra $20-30 and get the 8500GT pci card by Sparkle.
ok. i want to update my drivers for the visiontek x1300 pci card, i have 6.4 drivers, and want the new ones (8.6). If i un-install all the old ATI stuff with the uninstall utility, do i have to boot up back in safe mode or can i boot up regulary and just install the new drivers?
well some stores sell them like where i live walmart has it and i read some reveiwes that when u use this card wit 200GBs of hard drive that wit that kind of hard drive on css u can get 75-100 fps on d2
hmm...i was thinking about getting a x1550 radeon since i only have one PCI one PCI-E x1 slot but i found this PNY 8500gt. apparently the 8500 performs much better
yes, the x1550 is faster than this :P and the 2nd fastest PCI card out in USA is the HD2400 which can be found at bestbuy etc.. but the worlds FASTEST PCI card to date, is the 8500 which isnt sold in the USA.. :'[
i have agp and pci-e but i have a slimline dell, so i had to get this card cause its like the best half hight card out there. also, i don't have the pro version, just the normal version
i was showing off one of the best PCI cards of the time, thats something special dude... lol. if it was PCI-express then itd be nothing special. and btw this was just to show off what it could do.
thats ok, dont get the diamond brand anyways. if you really need a PCI graphics card, i recommend the HD 2400 because its more common in the USA than the 8500GT.
upgrading everything except the video card in time... With P5E X38 mobo, 2gb of OCZ ATi crossfire, Q6600... another 3850 for crossfire and a raptor harddrive
I used to have a setup like that. I couldnt stand it anymore and at the time my friend was selling his old custom built rig because he was building another. I got it all for 200 bucks. 2 Gbs of ram 2.5 ghz AMD Athilon, SLI 6800gt (getting a 8800gt :P), 550 watt power supply, and DVD burner. Not the best computer but for 200 bucks it was a steal.
Look around Im sure you could build a awesome computer for like 500-600 bucks.
the best one you can get is the Powerleap 3.2ghz Pentium 4(ebay might have it), but theres lots of things you need to do to make sure u get the right CPU and everything for the 2400.
can u please make a video playing counter strike and counterstrike source? make it LOONG video please. i wanna noe wat to buy and i play cal in those games so i wanna noe wats best...
im getting ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT 256MB(sry for caps its copy n pasted off site) is that better than this? this graphic card is lagging is this when its recording?
the 2400 XT is better, unless you have a X1300 XT or something before, but my card is PCI, and urs is PCI-e, so right there you're guaranteed more performance
yo that sum good graphics card lol it really is good kuz im got a pci express slot in my computer so im planin on buying a good 512 mb card from nvidia im not a gamer but like playing games so im geussing if that is pci then pci express probably be even better great vid by the way hope u good luck on any other upgrades
it only does low graphics with 2 sample anti alaising(havent tried higher graphics yet though:))runs great. you can run halo 2 on xp. search for it on youtube and there are some videos about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!but i have vista.
How much is your power supply?By the way Im planning on buying an x1550 and ive never seen the gfx card of x1550 working on a PCI pc.I have dell dimension 3000 pc and it really needs an upgrade from video.ur card looks decent and has good gfx>im stuck with pci till i buy my new xps 420 pc.anyways if u no,which card,x1550 or x1300?
is radeon hd 2400 xt 256mb ddr3 better then x1300? i am getting a new pc wich is a big step up from my 7year old pc, got 2.0 pent 4 in old one, new one is dual core 2.4ghz 1.24 gigs of ram on old and 2gb ddr2 on new pc, radeon hd 2400 xt, hope i can run this ^_^ sorry if its a bad question. hope i can run cod4
dude, i think you'll be ok. and yes, the hd2400 xt is WAAAAY better than the x1300 in a long shot. ddr3 really helps it too. you can probably run cod4 on low-med settings at a medium sized resolution. not a bad question at all.
fucking owning in fps, holy shit...lol, playing this game at 2560x1600 everything high, and eh, about 150-200fps, never lower than 140...wow lol wouldnt that be nice?

Zulfiqar32 3 years ago
yes, the x1550 is faster than this :P and the 2nd fastest PCI card out in USA is the HD2400 which can be found at bestbuy etc.. but the worlds FASTEST PCI card to date, is the 8500 which isnt sold in the USA.. :'[

i have agp and pci-e but i have a slimline dell, so i had to get this card cause its like the best half hight card out there. also, i don't have the pro version, just the normal version
mrguyorama 3 years ago
The most powerfull pci.. I think its thee 9800gx2 with that card you can play every game without any trouble, It will Max crysis easy..
the only problem is the price, i dont know exackly but 600 us dollars right now I think .
Oskepirr 3 years ago
thanx man i love i have no pci-e and no agp only pci and ill buy this graphic card
numb416 3 years ago
The x1300 is actually pretty good, it wasn't designed to play games but it does anyway and it does it quite well.
flamingaxe791 3 years ago
wow! never knew there was a pci version for this card, i've got the agp x1300/1500
warlockskz 3 years ago
your voice isn't that bad
and anyway an x1300 is nothing to show off, I was running one before I upgraded to my HD2600XT.
Protoking 3 years ago
i was showing off one of the best PCI cards of the time, thats something special dude... lol. if it was PCI-express then itd be nothing special. and btw this was just to show off what it could do.
Coolbri1191 3 years ago
i almost have the same exact specs. u should turn off AA, not realy helping at 1024*768
stupidguyaabbcc 3 years ago
I can't find this graphics card :(
actrol 3 years ago
thats ok, dont get the diamond brand anyways. if you really need a PCI graphics card, i recommend the HD 2400 because its more common in the USA than the 8500GT.
Coolbri1191 3 years ago
yo hav u try CSS on it?
DJSKEE2121 3 years ago
lol css is same engine as hl2
dustin12388 3 years ago
give me some time man.. im busy, but i will be working on a quick video for css.. nothing really special.
Coolbri1191 3 years ago

paulbreor 3 years ago
if it can handle this 40-50 and probly 100 fps imagine in CSS cause HL2 is harder to get fps and imagine DUAL!!
DJSKEE2121 3 years ago
i can actually even run this game everything high(minus AA and low shaders) at 1680x1050 resolution and get about 20-30fps

Coolbri1191 3 years ago
Sorry. I have ATI Radeon X 1600, no 1650 XD XD Just little mistake... but it's better...
Tallos1 4 years ago
Yes,.. I have ATI Radeon X 1650... Pretty better graphic... well... it's all about dollars...
Tallos1 4 years ago
I used to have a setup like that. I couldnt stand it anymore and at the time my friend was selling his old custom built rig because he was building another. I got it all for 200 bucks. 2 Gbs of ram 2.5 ghz AMD Athilon, SLI 6800gt (getting a 8800gt :P), 550 watt power supply, and DVD burner. Not the best computer but for 200 bucks it was a steal.
Look around Im sure you could build a awesome computer for like 500-600 bucks.

yo man i have a 2400 too, its not that that bad but i have a 2.6 celeron lol with 768 ram and a basic ati card lol can you change the processor?
humantestdummy 4 years ago
the best one you can get is the Powerleap 3.2ghz Pentium 4(ebay might have it), but theres lots of things you need to do to make sure u get the right CPU and everything for the 2400.
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
I have A 2400 Celeron 2.4 GHZ and 512 RAM 128 MB Vid ram it suks

im getting ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT 256MB(sry for caps its copy n pasted off site) is that better than this? this graphic card is lagging is this when its recording?
armean408 4 years ago
the 2400 XT is better, unless you have a X1300 XT or something before, but my card is PCI, and urs is PCI-e, so right there you're guaranteed more performance
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
I have about 10 of these cards. Very interesting. I'm going to have to grab a couple 3ghz HT systems and see what I can do.
daryth 4 years ago
in the vid i was running a Pentium 4 2.2GHz, soon after that vid, i upgraded to the Pentium 4 3.06GHz HT and added more RAM.
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
yo that sum good graphics card lol it really is good kuz im got a pci express slot in my computer so im planin on buying a good 512 mb card from nvidia im not a gamer but like playing games so im geussing if that is pci then pci express probably be even better great vid by the way hope u good luck on any other upgrades
coolkidcoolkid1234 4 years ago 2
wow. i just got that same card and halo 2 gets a pretty good performance. but not as good as that!
mrguyorama 4 years ago
soo...you have the PCI x1300 running halo 2?! wow dude im jealous lol
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
it only does low graphics with 2 sample anti alaising(havent tried higher graphics yet though:))runs great. you can run halo 2 on xp. search for it on youtube and there are some videos about it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!but i have vista.
mrguyorama 4 years ago
thats still badass lol. what res you run it at?
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
1024*768, the same as my screen size. i don't fully understand why u should change the resolution. tis fun online.
mrguyorama 4 years ago
How much is your power supply?By the way Im planning on buying an x1550 and ive never seen the gfx card of x1550 working on a PCI pc.I have dell dimension 3000 pc and it really needs an upgrade from video.ur card looks decent and has good gfx>im stuck with pci till i buy my new xps 420 pc.anyways if u no,which card,x1550 or x1300?
prd2bepersian 4 years ago
if you're going to do extreme gfx-type games, then get the x1550, if not, then go with the x1300..
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
actually i heard that they are making an X1800 PCI version so i would look into that if your in need of an upgrade
nirvanakcteen 4 years ago
holy shit! dude if youre right, then...you think itd be better than the Sparkle 8500GT for PCI? cuz its out, but not for the US.. :\
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
the 8500 would do really well with games like HL2 and stuff, im running a radeon HD 3850 and its powering through everything, plays crysis on high
nirvanakcteen 4 years ago
wow nice dude!! so is the 8500 better than the x1800? i havent found anything on the x1800 pci version yet..
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
if they bandwith goes right, the 8500 would be better
nirvanakcteen 4 years ago
is radeon hd 2400 xt 256mb ddr3 better then x1300? i am getting a new pc wich is a big step up from my 7year old pc, got 2.0 pent 4 in old one, new one is dual core 2.4ghz 1.24 gigs of ram on old and 2gb ddr2 on new pc, radeon hd 2400 xt, hope i can run this ^_^ sorry if its a bad question. hope i can run cod4
forsakenfallenangel 4 years ago
dude, i think you'll be ok. and yes, the hd2400 xt is WAAAAY better than the x1300 in a long shot. ddr3 really helps it too. you can probably run cod4 on low-med settings at a medium sized resolution. not a bad question at all.
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
i wish they make Sli/crossfire on a normal pci soon
mikeccuk2006 4 years ago
lol...man, would that be nice.. and for some reason, the Diamond X1550 PCI card says it has crossfire support o.O
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
ofcource it could do crossfire, its just the end cables, not like sli ;0. Surely you could make it crosfire in 4 with pci's LOL
mikeccuk2006 4 years ago
fucking owning in fps, holy shit...lol, playing this game at 2560x1600 everything high, and eh, about 150-200fps, never lower than 140...wow lol wouldnt that be nice?
Coolbri1191 4 years ago
you would probably need a 800watt power supply for a quad- Xfire pci setup o.0
mikeccuk2006 4 years ago
pci cards cost more then agp/pcie??
connortimoti 4 years ago
unfortunately yes...pretty gay isnt it?
