  • Spokane Memorial Stadium Cold Ass Winter Outside. They Played on White Carpet. 1977 We Did Not Know What We Had.

  • rush suck's lol/? are what ,,,u ....guy;s dont't even know,,,,thanks for your support,,,,

  • It sucks that we did not have good video capturing equipment back when the best music in the history of America was being played live and fresh. Later generations will only have a small clue of what they missed.

  • i got no time for living, yes, im working all the time...

  • Happy 2112 Day (in America) 2/1/12

  • @superflyLD I've been getting a lot of confused looks today as I pointed that out ...

  • OMFG, never got to see them live :(

  • huh, I saw this tour - Memorial Coliseum - One of the security guards told me to dump my pot on the floor or leave. I dumped my pot.

  • This 76/77 early footage was taken after Alex's gibson 335 had an amp fall on it.

If you look close there is a clip of alex playing the 335 .Someone edited different footage.

  • i saw that show 76-77 well what i casn remember! ya lots a pot n acid! we love the way they would jam, then stop! best concerts were in the 70s ! music blows now a days! no talent

  • Thanks so much for the upload!

  • I remember seeing Rush at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago in August of 1977.. Kicked so much ass that you didn't need any chemicals to get high-- you got high off of the mere experience. All The World's A Stage was also my fave Rush Album.

  • @psycmeistr

I think my dad saw the same show as you haha. Farewell to Kings tour 1976-77 I think. I'm wearing the shirt from that show in my newest video. Tell me if you remember it at all.

  • @dave8386 That was one of the shirts available-- Pretty good on that axe there...

  • @psycmeistr

No way you actually remember the shirts that were available? Awesome! And thanks for the compliment. Was Alex wearing his kimono? Haha.

  • @psycmeistr OMG I was at that too....the Aragon sure was the place to be back in the day.....Nice to see a fellow Rush fan and Aragon concert goer......how bout that alley down the side

  • @psycmeistr Rush in August of '77 ? Never happened. At the Brawlroom,May 20th and May 21st they were there

  • All The World's A Stage is one of my favorite albums. I grew up with this band.

  • the video doesnt match the music, its not even real, but its good footage anyway

  • I got to see RUSH in 1977 and 1978 while they were at their peak. And I only had to pay $8.00 per show. Listen to Geddy's voice now and listen to it on this video. In my opinion his voice is not at 25% of what it was back then.

  • @dongtingwong when he hit puberty

  • @dongtingwong I saw RUSH a number of times during those years too.If you find that Geddy's vocal range has diminished over the last 35 years, you are correct. It's called getting old.

  • plus ca change plus c est la meme chose

  • THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!

  • Its crazy to see how bad the footage was back then and now today a 200 camera that fits in your hand blows this shit away loL!

  • @AssassinSteven $200 camera? Nah! Try a Cell Phone!

  • @AssassinSteven But interestingly enough, you could take some of the best bands of today, with the best modern stage equipment money can buy and put them against Rush, live, 1976, with their 1976 stage equipment and instruments and Rush would eat them alive. I remember seeing Yes, back in the 1970s and I was blown away by how closely their live performances duplicated their studio sound. Same thing with the band Boston, their studio sound was perfect, but their stage sound was very good as well

  • This is a cool version (even if sync was used !)

It kinda looks like one of today's cheesy cell phone videos !

Only 30 years ahead of it's time !!!

I saw Rush at the CNE 1978 !!!

  • excellent job...this music is from the live album "All the world's a Stage"...back when alex was playing the les paul thru the marshalls....ah, the good old days.

  • excellent job syncing the Rochester '75 footage to ATWAS...it must have been a lot of work to get similar visual cues, but the result is definitely worth it. Well done!

Too bad we can't find the original un-mangled version of that Rochester video (with audio) ...now THAT would be mind-blowing!

  • I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO WHILE I LISTENED TO THE SONG. NICE!

  • WOW!

All i can say is wow

  • this is old 8 mm footage from either caress of steel or 2112 tours or both. It's various footage (clothes change)

The audio sounds like the all the world's a stage album

still cool to see for those of us too young to see the band in this time

  • It is AtWaS

  • What a find. Only 250 views to date, seriously?

  • were did you get this footage?
