  • @lll3axlll

    Stop think man.

  • @martina112203 there are several ways to spell and pronounce it actually. but this recipe is rediculous.

  • She has NO idea what is real borsch and where it's from. Sad, that people will do anything to be on tv, youtube or anywhere. PLEASE NO ONE make this!!! This is just a JOKE !!!

  • God, how can you eat cold soup?! Give me Heinz cream of tomato anytime.

  • Kevin,

I know it has been a while since you posted this video, but I only just stumbled upon it and was wondering if you still have any of those shirts available for order, I would really love one. I just checked out the store on your site but didn't see a clothing section.

  • also, this recipe that she has is not even close to traditional Ukrainian / Russian / Polish borscht

  • vegetarian soup??? true borsh (borscht) includes meats (pork or beef) but it could be cooked without the meat .. less fatty and not as appetizing as one with the meat.

  • Beets and cabbage don't make the soup a "borsch"! Like t-shirt , though...

  • yummo. googled borcht vitamix. just got my VM 2 days ago..

how long did you do that first whirl w/ the veggies?...

is the beet cooked or raw?

  • celery? Borsch is vegitarian soup? Don't think so!

  • борщ is how we spell it in Russia. A lot shorter then in English hehe.

  • Raw borscht? oy. To the below - it is of Ukrainian origin - but German, Polish, Russians and other European countries have their own versions. I still don't know how it would taste raw? How is it a warming soup if it's not warm? I'm so SKEEEEEEEEERED of trying this. haha!

  • Add some caraway seed, that really makes it!

    Yum....

  • Ha-Ha! I'm Ukrainian, and this is our national soup so I give you permission to pronounce it the way it SHOULD be pronounced: borsch. B-O-R-S-C-H. Try it--it's easy! Great authentic recipe; it typically has beef bones, but the veg version for fasts is very much like this. I can't wait to try this. Thanks, Kevin and Annmarie! And Heather!

  • YOUR national soup? Stop stealing our shit, hohol. kthx.

    This is a Russian soup.

  • ohyeahbilly,

Nope. It's Ukrainian. Look it up. Russia never grew beets traditionally, but they did grow cabbage. The national soup of Russia, is and always was, Schiy. Cabbage soup. Which wouldn't work raw very well . . . but you could give it a go. You know, to honor your ancestors. As I make borsch to honor mine. Peace.

  • actually it is both our national soup although im pretty sure that both nations cook them differently.

  • Im sure there are plenty variations of this soup. They all sound good. yum!

  • Envision the swedish chef in the kitchen making 'borscht'. Dumdedumdiddlededum!

What color are your walls after cooking with the swedish chef? *ala splatter technique*

    'Borscht! Borscht! Borscht!

    Yah, the zoup lookz fabulouz.

Just love saying it. Right up there with tchotchkes...

  • Love the shirt...size ladies Med. or large. whenever I can get one is great.

  • The soup look good can't wait to try it "BORSCHT" Large shirt after the holidays.

    Great Show.

  • After the holidays.

    L and XXXL.

    Borscht!

  • hey! great t-shirt! i want one too!!! however i live in europe... is that a problem?

    i'd order s oder xs!

    violet

    ps: BORSCHT!

  • I'd order a small shirt whenever if it came in a lighter color. How about white or a "live" green? :) anything but black really...

  • When ever is good. Me,, XL please.. thats awesome.. Keven and annmarie RAWK. Take care

  • I would just love a shirt doesn't matter what time..and I would probably get two one for me and one for my bf. so I would say XL and XXL

  • It IS a gorgeous colour. I think the "original" Borscht recipes actually has ground beef in it. I could br wrong though. I thought it came from Poland, which might explain the ground beef...

  • man you're very lucky to have a lady like that CONGRATS!!!!

  • I love borscht. I just love the name. We have a saying in my family: "Cheap like Borscht." Awesome show!

I LOVE the shirts! Definitely AFTER the holidays. I'm a Small, and would love to order one when you have them up.

  • Thank you! I never had a beet that I liked until I lived in Denmark and my host dad made borscht! Since then I've loved beets. Now comes the task of finding one! (not easy in Korea- i might find one or two halves in the supermarket)

  • was the soup slightly warm? how warm (in temp) do you eat your soups?

    just wondering.

    thanks!
