@1thepler Actually watch the video and you'll see it wasn't the "safety" that failed but a combination of muscle retention with the firing hammer and curing his finger into the trigger guard. A mistake, yes, but one that could happen to anyone who does these sorts of drills often enough.

It's a balance everyone needs to strike for themselves. You're far more likely to get shot by yourself than by a bad guy if you do enough concealed carry drills. It depends on your priorities.

Tex's 1911 was off safe when he drew, yes overall an accident
