sounds great. these and soarers are extremely quiet from standard and even with mild performance exhausts they still sound quiet.. you really gotta give them the full exhaust and even headers, then they sound aweome.
Nice Mate, Check out some of my videos. I used a pair of lukeys on my old soarer, Great mufflers. Too bad I cant get them any more as im doing an exhaust on my celsior soon but have found a solution with some good similar mufflers
Yeah ive got some more videos but they are on my work PC, ill post some later.
The system is:
No cats, straight onto the manifolds are short stubby 2.5 inch Chase resonators. Then 2.5 inch piping from each to a Y collector just after the gearbox. A small straight section of 2.5 inch piping into a Lukey offset muffler then 2.5 inch piping to the rear.
I noticed a big lowend performance gain, it lights up much more easily now :D
hehehe yeah I know what you mean. I went for a 2-1 setup because I have heard and driver 2 other LS400's and 1 V8 Soarer with aftermarket exhausts. These were all dual setups with either a X pipe or 2xY collectors. All of these seemed worse down low but mainly they didnt have the sound I was after, they didnt have a performance or aggressive sound.
I have to admit I was very nervous when I started it up the first time with a 2-1 but im very happy that i went with it now.

Hi how much did this setup cost as i am interested in something similar also was fuel economy affected at all any help would be appreciated

I live in NZ so youll have to do some currency conversion but it cost around $900 with the chrome tip.
The fuel economy was effected without doubt, it is more thirsty now for sure.
For me the low end gains and sound easily make up for the extra gas but this is not my daily driver.
