Just watch movie. Hell YEah I'm looking 4ward to it because it's a whole different approach like no holds bar with the violence, language, death it's more of a realistic feel like how actual people would react. Plus I heard the director is using his own money for this film because if he takes money from the company's he's going to have make it the way they want it or think audience would like but he doesn't want that.

I say read the comics. Maybe after do it after you watch the movie though. That way if it has inaccuracies, you won't be disappointed when you watch the movie. Then you can read the comics so you can have some more insight into it and see why hardcore fans of the series may or may not like the movie.
