I have a more direct approach to things concerning my faith, if you have a question that you would like answered I would be more than happy to answer it to the best of my ability. Throwing a bunch of LDS history at someone asking a question about the faith is a bit tedious and is not a good way to clear up in discrepancies passed on by word of mouth and then transferred to the internet.

We have free will or free agency, depending on who you talk to, this means that right or wrong people are allowed to speak freely about what they agree with or disagree with or anything for that matter. I don't mind that people don't believe the same things that I do, I just like rumors being started. I respect the fact that you have a different faith, at least you believe in something.

I have a more direct approach to things concerning my faith, if you have a question that you would like answered I would be more than happy to answer it to the best of my ability. Throwing a bunch of LDS history at someone asking a question about the faith is a bit tedious and is not a good way to clear up in discrepancies passed on by word of mouth and then transferred to the internet.

@Bramendor He was in jail with his brother and the counsel members. A mob came up and tired to kill them all, Joseph's brother took the first or second round fired, in his face and was killed. One person tried to climb out the window and was shot but managed to slide under the bed and survive. Joseph Smith shot five rounds, 2 hit members of this mob and they died a few years later due to their injuries from that night. Joseph was shot out the window and died, one can only assume from the fall.

@omiolo Actually I am not into drugs at all, Temple Recommend is more important to me. I don't see a point in shoving the Book of Mormon down peoples throats for any reason. They can either gain a testimony by reading the Book of Mormon and researching it, or they can continue to spread half truth. Does the church have a past the is not politically Correct? And you're right, there is only one Jesus Christ, but the one that Mormonism is so vigorously trying to adhere to doesn't exist. The church does not tell us how to vote or who to vote for, I would encourage you to go and sit in for sacrament in any LDS church in your area before the elections are held.
