The year has been long and hard. I think of the ultimate sacrifices given daily to all our armed forces,I know I'm not alone. I would like to thank all the music artist out there that do support our troops , I really like hearing them doing songs about our sons, daughters, and husbands, wives, and parents that are fighting overseas to support the United States Of America, this is from a mother that has had a son go over to Iraq not once but twice to protect our country ( I am so proud of everyone of them that are over there) , I have a lot of friends and family members that are still over there .

My Cousin Adam was just stationed @ Ft. Bragg in North Carolina 2 days ago.. It's his first time to being stationed; he just graduated Air Borne about a couple of months ago... This song describes him perfectly. I love him to death, and he's like a brother to me. I miss him and love him sooo much!! An Now he is watching above as I embark on my Journey in the united States Marine Corps! Just as My Dad I am fully Papered to Stand,Fight,An if the time calls Give my all. A friend emailed me this link. My son is finishing up his time with the 82nd. I've stood on that Green Ramp twice and saw him come home. I will always be a military mom, no matter if my own son is active or not. They're all our sons and daughters and deserve all the love and support this country and each individual can give. No man shows a greater love than those willing to give up their lives for another (not the exact quote, but close enough).

I am so proud of the work put into this production. My name is Renee Griffith and I am one of the writers on this song. It is amazing to see this fabulous porductions by Bodell Music and their team. THe song was originally written in 2001 shortly after 9/11. Bodell, Tate, and others came on board and took the idea, song, and video over the top. This is a homerun!
