What a beautiful song and such a meaningful video! Thank You for your song.My son Paul gave his all in the Iraq war. It has been one year and the pain of a broken heart is still there. The year has been long and hard. I think of the ultimate sacrifices given daily to all our armed forces,I know I'm not alone. Thank you to all and God Bless our country and its military men, women and families. Having the soldiers to sing/perform in the video is inspiring and the video/song is over the top!!!
Recently I visited the United States Military Academy at West Point and I realized that there is no other place on earth I want to go. I want to fight for the red, white, and blue like two of my older brothers.
I work at WAGS Radio 1380Am in south carolina, and i play this song all the time, i love this song and sing along with it when i hear it. Most of my family has serves our country in all branches of military, and i say Thank you and God Bless all who have and are serving to keep us safe.
I would like to thank all the music artist out there that do support our troops , I really like hearing them doing songs about our sons, daughters, and husbands, wives, and parents that are fighting overseas to support the United States Of America, this is from a mother that has had a son go over to Iraq not once but twice to protect our country ( I am so proud of everyone of them that are over there) , I have a lot of friends and family members that are still over there .
This song has alot of meaning not many songs are like this now days this song has alot of truth. My brother went to Iraq twice and he will never be the same he has lost alot in his life more then any of us will give in our life time time. So many have fought and so many are lost but there memories will last for ever because truly no one dies unless they are forgotten and any one that serves for this country will never be forgotten. they will forever be in our hearts and prayers.
God bless our brave troops, Navy, Airforce, and Marines.. Thank you to every single person even firefighters, and police officers who risk their lives to help protect everyone in our Country. As a family member of a new- be Soldier, HOOAH!!!!!!
My Cousin Adam was just stationed @ Ft. Bragg in North Carolina 2 days ago.. It's his first time to being stationed; he just graduated Air Borne about a couple of months ago... This song describes him perfectly. I love him to death, and he's like a brother to me. I miss him and love him sooo much!! Adam Silvers, if you're reading this, I just want to say that I'm extremely proud of you, and honored to be able to call you my cousin. I'm anxiously waiting to see your munchkin ass again! xoxo buddy
My Dad Served as a Navy Seal, An he did give all, I remember my Dads Funeral like it was yesterday an its been 8 years. An Now he is watching above as I embark on my Journey in the united States Marine Corps! Just as My Dad I am fully Papered to Stand,Fight,An if the time calls Give my all. My Grandpa an Great Grand served us proved in WW1 an WW2 as well an now me. I love this song thats for an absolute Wonderful song!
@U0S6M2C1Angel I'm currently training as a Navy Seal. Your father was a great man to server and fight as one of our own! I give you my blessing and wish I was able to meet your father. I'm sorry for your loss
@U0S6M2C1Angel God bless you, Marine. I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but you are a strong, brave, and wonderful person for being willing to stand up and say "I'll give my all". Be safe and return home to your family. Semper Fi, soldier.
My dad serves in the US Navy, currently over in Kuwait. Now his little girl (myself) will be joining the US Navy to serve our country and keep it's freedom. Bless the troops.
A friend emailed me this link. My son is finishing up his time with the 82nd. I've stood on that Green Ramp twice and saw him come home. I will always be a military mom, no matter if my own son is active or not. They're all our sons and daughters and deserve all the love and support this country and each individual can give. No man shows a greater love than those willing to give up their lives for another (not the exact quote, but close enough).
I will be on the green ramp when my son returns from deployment in July. This is a very touching song, and I appreciate it so much! My son is stationed here at Fort Bragg. I am presently here with my daughter in law and grandson due to the fact that my son just returned to Afg after 2 weeks of leave. Looking forward to seeing green ramp and my son returning home!!!! HOOAH!!
@armymom6209 My cousin Adam was just stationed @ Ft. Bragg 2 days ago!! If you meet a young man named Adam Silvers from TN, tell him his cousin Regina is EXTREMELY proud of him!!!

God Bless Ya all. Rodney Leonard. I served in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, Cali. from 1988--1992 as a jet engine mechanic with the VS-33 Screw Birds, an air-anti submarine attack squadren with the S-3A Vikings as our aiplanes.
