@CTAjunior look at the last bubble set the guy did, you can clearly see as he split it with the spreader that the bubbles pronounced that wasnt water that was a bubble which he effortlessly removed.
Also, yeah obviously this video is an ad for this vinyl. It is produced by Arlon, I guess you'd have to be oblivious to not notice that. The point is that, with this sort of quality vinyl (Arlon is not the only supplier for this), you can knock down vehicle wraps in half the time if you're willing to spend a bit more on supplies. If you can't manage that extra cost in your shop by providing a faster and higher quality install, you're in the wrong business.
Wrapping a Bug isn't so hard -- it feels impossible compared to other cars, but once you're done you can pat yourself on the back. Next time a vinyl wrap comes up, you can get a running start and throw the vinyl at the car and it will stick perfectly with no bubbles.
idiot..i've done a lot of vinyl wrapping...the bubbles wont go off just like that...i they micro tiny bubbles left...i'll grow bigger when exposed to heat
this tutorial is useless for anything but this brand of vinyl! it's not useful for as much as it is a sales plug!..... lost me before I even considered looking at anymore of your vidz!!!

What product were you referring to which allows for such effortless removal of bubbles? It isn't quite clear.

Love the vid. How much I pay to have my 96 240sx vinyl wrapped in a satin white?

Lastly, I love how there are typos and spelling errors in literally every comment which complains about how this looks impossible.

it is vehicle wrap material. there are actually small channels cut in to the adhesive that allows the air to move to the edges.
ucmj22 2 years ago
The only way this can work is if that fabric can breath. It must breath to allow the air out, there is no other way it could do it.
