The infiniti is slightly ahead of the Rover at 60mph which is what is expected considering it only does the 0-60 in about 5.8 seconds and the Rover does it in 6. One thing people pay too much attention too though is HP and basic numbers. The reason the Rover outran the infiniti in the full 1/4 mile is because it has A LOT more torque and infiniti is very gutless when it comes to torque. Thats why the X6 50i beats its competitors

What happens is that the EX35 weighs a lot less than x6 35i. Yes x6 (300hp/300lbs-ft.) has more power than EX35 (297hp/253lbs-ft.) but EX35 weighs 3,790lbs while x6 35i weighs 4,894lbs. Think of the EX35 as a tall sports coupe vs. x6 35i which weighs more like a full-size SUV. RWD EX35 can make 0-60mph in 5.5 seconds while x6 35i takes nearly 7 seconds. As far as i am concerned 2009 FX35 is also faster than x6 35i, however x6 50i (400hp/450lbs-ft.) is faster than FX50 (390hp/369lbs-ft.)
