I don't know why Buffalo's front office had a hard on for him, since he was medicore and was more interested in surfing than playing football. Rob Johnson (Robo-Sack) was one of the biggest flops in Buffalo Bills history. Wade Phillips has done one of the worst coaching moves in NFL history by benching Flutie and starting Robo-Sack in the '99 NFL playoffs. The Bills have never made the playoffs since that game and Wade Phillips has never won a playoff game in his NFL coaching career.
