my trainer is pretty similar. she's not one to coddle you or hold your hand, but she's made me a million times better. sometimes it's better to have a teacher who's hard on you.
and, no, scary instructors arnt better, i feel its better when you can actually talk to your instructor and tell them how you feel about work your doing in the school. from my experiance you get more done because you trust friends more than enimies, right?

babes, this si two years ago for a start, and wen you learn to ride at a young age it doesnt make a big difference to how you ride later in life because you are too small and not strong enough to control the horse, your skills only become better when you are big enough and confident enough for a pony.

I had Gem for JC she put in one of her killer stops on the cross counrty schooling bit on the trys triangle thing luckily I stayed on :S Theres another vid of sum1 falling of Gem on youtube some where cheeky Big Gem!!!
i just wanna say, thers nothing wrong with your instructer, shes shouting at you telling you what to do, she left you to get back onto the horse. But if she didnt do that then say you was out on your own and you fell of you would be waiting for someone to help you!

I don't see what peoples problems are with her. She seems like a really funny instructor, like one of mine who's always yelling...well I once nearly run her over which really set her off lol. So was yelling "GO!" for you to go into two-point . . . and you're two-point definitly needs a lot of work . . . all you do/did was just stand up in your stirrups, and you pulled on the horse's mouth. Certainly you shouldn't have been jumping this high at a canter!

A lot of instructors are like taht with loud, somewhat aggressive teaching styles. It doens't make them mean.
And at the end she told the rider to stay there to make sure she wasn't hurt. Everyone knows if there's a chance you have a neck/back/head or bone injury you're supposed to stay still at first.

So was yelling "GO!" for you to go into two-point . . . and you're two-point definitly needs a lot of work . . . all you do/did was just stand up in your stirrups, and you pulled on the horse's mouth. Certainly you shouldn't have been jumping this high at a canter!

im sorry but what about "i know how to ride this was a long time ago dont need to comment it" do you not understand? + 2.i couldt get together with the horses jump becuz she has the most weirdest jump, so dont say that i should be jumping that high because we jumped higher you dont know the circumstances or the pony and this video was put up for fun so i think you should just get over it.

I have jumped ponies that jump really weird, but I don't just yank on their mouths and stand up in the stirrups, and my instructor CERTAINLY doesn't yerll "GO!!!" at me when I'm supposed to go inot 2-point. I know when to do that myself. :)

I don't quite know what people are talking about..
A lot of instructors are like taht with loud, somewhat aggressive teaching styles. It doens't make them mean.
And at the end she told the rider to stay there to make sure she wasn't hurt. Everyone knows if there's a chance you have a neck/back/head or bone injury you're supposed to stay still at first.
