@bavarianprincess8 I SOO agree. Its so suttle after the bigger sounding music before, that it kinda breaks your heart </3 back then when marriages weren't allowed between people of different classes (most of the time) im sure this sort off heart break happened a lot. :( i hate the sleez that wrote that letter in this movie saying jane was promised to some wealthy guy!! :(
just 2 ordinary teenager girls living our life and sharing what goes on in our small town...we are new to youtube...but come check us out! ;) WE <3 YOU GUYS!
It was an act of true love from her side to walk away from him, for their marriage would have ruined him and his family, for they were dependant of him.
That makes the whole thing so sad. But indeed a beautiful ending. Not entirely satisfactory though, would have loved to see them together in the end:)
Love is never easy; it is not all good; it can be hard, painful and the cruelest form of torcher in all the world. Yet despite all that what a beautiful and perfect way to end.
The name of the song is incorrect. Right now it's "Non vieni del tardar," but it's actually "Deh vieni non tardar," which means "Oh, come, do not delay." The title currently provided means something along the lines of "Don't come to the waiting," which is kind of the opposite.
It would nearly kill me to not be with the one that I loved....I say that Jane and Tom are people of very strong characters in this one. They have the courage to stay apart for the the benefit of others. Such a tragic and romantic sacrifice.
I definately cry every single time on this film, particualry "A Last Reading".
Goodness, I cannot blame you. Anyone who is not touched by the sadness of the ending is heartless!
The story begins in the early years after the death of Marie Antoinette, which just somehow adds so much romanticism in that alone!
The chaos of the French Revolution was far away enough not to harm Jane Austen and her family, but I bet it influenced her writing greatly. Her cousin, the countess, did lose her husband to the revolution.
I appreciated reading your comment. It was moving.
Yes when he watched her read he looked like he was about to cry..i cant imagine spending 20 years without the one i really wanted to be with soooo sad

Such tender affection is NOT easy to find. If it comes, it can be too hard to ever let go.

who wrote the first song? Non vieni del tardar?

Mozart. It's from his opera "Le Nozze de Figaro." Great opera. You should listen to all of it, if you get a chance.

His superb facial expressions is what kills me everytime. You can really see his heart ripped in two, which rips your's in two.

That is what I thought, too! It was sad to see how so much time went by, and it was simply lost forever.
