While Roy and Brodeur were both very consistent and amazing goalies, there's no way they can touch Hasek. Especially in the early/mid nineties he had save percentage of 0.93 or more literally every season. While other goalies could hardly reach 0.92. And there's no doubt he had weaker team than Roy and Brodeur.

I'm a buffalo fan but to tell you the truth hasek never played for a good team in Buffalo Hasek was on Below Average to Average teams.. He carried Buffalo teams to the playoffs and to the CUP.Also Buffalo never played the Trap with Hasek in goal there system was everyone go in on goal hasek will make the save. 15 years in the NHL he faced 20220with only 735 games played.

The best goalies of all time in my book are .

1. Dominik Hasek

Because i was a longtime sabre fan not anymore.

2.Martin Brodeur

The best goaltender in the game right now. When he retires no one will match him.

3. Patrick Roy

The best goalie of all time who has made and breaked records. Hopefully Brodeur will reach the same records and or break the same records as Roy .

Yeah I thought of him too , but i was like he was before my time and i dont know much about him either . Other than he was good in his time and he set records that stood for along time until Patrick Roy came about .

i agree with you for hasek in 1st place, brodeur is not in top 5 because he plays all of his career with a good team and he not face many shot per game and the shot are not dangerous because new jersey play a good defensive strategy. If you put brodeur with a bad team you can forget his records and he become a ordinary goalthender. When hasek play for buffalo he had a very bad team but he dominate the lead.

lol Roy and Brodeur is better than Doom , I mean he is incredible , great , yeah but no , not better than Brodeur and Roy , Roy with his three Conn Smythe Trophies win , his 10 straight overtime wins, , Most playoff wins by a goaltender, career: with 151W, how many record i see by hasek , 0 so that the point try to figure that he was great but not in 1st place , may be in the history he is in the top 5

Roy is a great goalthender, particularly in post season. But, he play long time with a good team. If you put Roy or Brodeur with a bad team, they can't make victory or shutoot record. When Hasek play with Buffalo he pulls the team himself. Hasek have the recoord of Hart trophy for a goalthender. At my opinion, it's the most honorable trophy and he have the record of Vezina trophy for modern nhl(1980-...).

Id have to say the same, however, i never liked Brodeur, i cant argue the fact that hes fantastic, but i just never caught the hype of him being that good. He isnt like a Roy or Hasek, but i guess thats what makes him different then the rest. If i had to pick a 4th, id say Ron Hextall because, well, they dont make goalies like him anymore lol
