First class cabin looks good, however still now completley 180deg flat seats un bussiness class for Lufthansa, puts them behind top European carriers and the Gulf carriers.
T.H.I.S. is just how all planes should beee!! No mather if they it is an A318 or an A380 PLEASE! It is a PLANE! not a mansion where you are going to live 15 years! you are going to be there no more than 17 hours! And Lufthansa is the more elegant airline ever...

@skyfuuucker I flew with Lufthansa to Seattle and with Emirates to Dubai, and i think that Emirates is way better. Their flight-attendants smile, you get a lot of drinks and the food is really good, and the ICE IFE system is the best.
@nielscarp We are talking about configuration of the cabin. But if you went there - I disagree. Simply because I flew Emirates many times, like almost any other company. Got a job there and refused to go. Lufthansa crew is much more professional. And what are we talking about? Economy? I don't fly economy, sorry.
Btw, check the specifications of Emirates aircrafts, and you'll see that they have smallest legroom possible. The food on the plane depends on a country and catering company.
@nielscarp I've had some horrible food in Dubai. It all depends on how cheap the company is. My experience tells me that one of the best catering companies are in BKK, JFK, YYZ and TLV. Btw, nor Emirates, nor Lufthansa do not belong to a "five star" airlines. Try Cathay Pacific, or Singapore Airlines. :-)

Es ist schön, daß der A380 mehr oder weniger luxuriös ist. Ich nutze ein Flugzeug nur, um aus beruflichen Gründen schnell von A nach B zu kommen. Und bei längeren Interkontinentalflügen ist es schön, wenn man mehr Platz hat um auch mal schlafen zu können. Mehr brauche ich nicht und will ich auch nicht. Für mich ist Flugsicherheit wichtiger als Luxus.
Die schöne Ausstattung im A380 von Lufthansa ist zwar toll, wenn man bedenkt wie "schlecht" im Verhältnis dazu die First Class von der 747-400 war, allerdings ist Emirates, oder Singapoore Airlines noch wesentlich besser, was die Ausstattung betrifft, aber zum Glücl ist es nicht wie bei japanischen, oder koreanischen Gesellschaften, wo mehr als 1000 Sitze in den A380 reingequetscht werden.

I found their first class to be very comfortable and slept like a baby. Having storage lockers for your possessions is great, but perhaps there are too many as I left my bag on the plane in the foot rest and had to wait while someone went and found it! At least it means the roof is uncluttered and feels more spacious.
The bathroom was seriously bigger than my bathroom at home width and length wise and it had a urinal so I could stand and pee not worrying that turbulence would cause a missfire!

I think first class should have total privacy like with Emirates, Etihad, Jet, Singapore and any others i've missed....it's the same as i think all business class seats should in this day and age be fully flat...but touching back to the privacy thing with Lufhansa..Etihad offers more privacy in their business class (peal class) pod seat than Lufhansa's first...FRA first class lounge service...the car to take you to the plane..is amazing it's a shame the first class seat lets it down slightly.

I love the emirates first class suite on tha380s the only thing that puts me off a bit is that stewards can look over the top of the door to check on you without you knowing which this was shown in a another video I have seen I wld rather this above plan than be put in a suite thinking u are totally private where in fact u r not. I would rather something like the above open plan so at least u are aware pple are at least but on the otr hand u can bring the sides down on emirates 1st class suites
Lufthansa still flies very old 747 fleets from San Francisco to Frankfurt, no electronic entertainment, torn carpets, just high fees. Don't waste your money flying Lufthansa, unless you can afford their Business Class. They have avoided any needed upgrades for the past 10 years now!
It's because they ordere the 747-8i. They won't waste money in upgrading the 744 whe they're gonna have the 748i soon. The A346 and A343 from LH have PTV's. I was on a LH 346 from Munich to San Francisco and everything was okay.
@CEOTerminator indeed, only some of their 747s (apparently those flying to San Francisco) haven't been updated yet. the whole rest of the long haule fleet (A330/340/380) has personal TV in all classes, aswell as the new 747-8s will have.
the new first class is beautiful. Everybody says :"oh no privacy like in the Asia airlines" but Lufthansa is very near by the customers and they don't want so a fucki'n gay isolated bowl in which they are surrounded, they wanna have the best service and a beautiful overview :)
Interesting that the business class is still the same. They don't lie truly flat; the seats are angled flat. This can be annoying for sleeping because you keep sliding down. They should re-vamp the business class to be truly lie-flat.
There's no way that the front seat on the A380 can touch your lap. After all first class are design to give the passengers more private and space in comparison to business class and ecocomy.
I've been in first class few times and I never have that problem.
First Class or Business Class - The best Class is to fly in your own Learjet. These Lufthansa airlines are overpriced with old technology, time to fly with a more reputable airliner that cares about passengers than their own bottom line.

the food is terrible on lufthansa. that wasnt allways that bad. back in the 80th they served german food intsead if pizza or chicken.

I know everyone is saying this but Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Etihad and Qatar are way better!You just get so much more for your money.I am a bit disappointed about Lufthansa´s new first class product. A nice wide leather chair ,with much more privacy and wireless seat controller like Emirates offers,is prefered!Also the bar and social area on EK A380 is amazing!Not to forget the shower facility and I have to say, the service is better on these carriers too!The pvt s in LH eco looking small

@binisch But are you a first class flyer? Most European first class flyers prefer a more open cabin, tasteful cabin compared to the smaller space you get on Emirates and Singapore. They have done a great job catching a lot of market with this first class.

I love the emirates first class suite on tha380s the only thing that puts me off a bit is that stewards can look over the top of the door to check on you without you knowing which this was shown in a another video I have seen I wld rather this above plan than be put in a suite thinking u are totally private where in fact u r not. I would rather something like the above open plan so at least u are aware pple are at least but on the otr hand u can bring the sides down on emirates 1st class suites

Lufthansa still flies very old 747 fleets from San Francisco to Frankfurt, no electronic entertainment, torn carpets, just high fees. Don't waste your money flying Lufthansa, unless you can afford their Business Class. They have avoided any needed upgrades for the past 10 years now!

It's because they ordere the 747-8i. They won't waste money in upgrading the 744 whe they're gonna have the 748i soon. The A346 and A343 from LH have PTV's. I was on a LH 346 from Munich to San Francisco and everything was okay.

@CEOTerminator indeed, only some of their 747s (apparently those flying to San Francisco) haven't been updated yet. the whole rest of the long haule fleet (A330/340/380) has personal TV in all classes, aswell as the new 747-8s will have.

@CEOTerminator yes Lufthansa's Economy Class has been ( partly still is ) pretty bad.
But overall Lufthansa is a great Airline with a great service.
Their Business Class is very good, but they really need to upgrade all their fist classes.
I would rather fly their Business Class, than their old first !

the new first class is beautiful. Everybody says :"oh no privacy like in the Asia airlines" but Lufthansa is very near by the customers and they don't want so a fucki'n gay isolated bowl in which they are surrounded, they wanna have the best service and a beautiful overview :)

Interesting that the business class is still the same. They don't lie truly flat; the seats are angled flat. This can be annoying for sleeping because you keep sliding down. They should re-vamp the business class to be truly lie-flat.

There's no way that the front seat on the A380 can touch your lap. After all first class are design to give the passengers more private and space in comparison to business class and ecocomy.
I've been in first class few times and I never have that problem.

First Class or Business Class - The best Class is to fly in your own Learjet. These Lufthansa airlines are overpriced with old technology, time to fly with a more reputable airliner that cares about passengers than their own bottom line.
