I just saw him yesterday at a blues festival in Lebanon Ohio.(about 10 minutes away from kings island) i got my shirt signed by him. he played things like little wing, voodoo child and more he is a cool guy
cool,i agree with you on being a pretty cool guy, very level headed.we were there as well wish i had took my camera it's been a while since i've posted anythin new.wanted to get sonny moreman too.
This is a pretty good cover of Chris Duarte's "My Way Down", BUT no one dig's into their playing quite like Chris.
Just another example of "guitar gymnastic's" Meh, but, yeah.. go check out the chris duarte group and before you say anything, Chris was friends with SRV, and he has in own style based in the texas blues. Chris is has a alot of funk, rocking out and a lot of jazz influences in his playing.
I'm with you on this...I'm not trying to take anything away from this guy but for shit's sake ITS SOOOO OVERDONE! Everybody is looking for the guy that can solo. Chris is fantastic but he only re-writes other's songs. Unique but not original and neither is this.
I have an autographed copy of Scotty's first cd... beat that! ha just kidding, but I do have one. One day it'll be worth a lot. I first saw Scotty when he played with Greg and Darrell back in the day at the Blues Station.
