no, most of the R32s once on the A and C have been retired. it wouldn't make sense to put them back on that route. the R32s will remain on the E until the arrival of the R179s.
Um not me someone I know and this was last year in 2007, I don't know when and I know that the N has R160s and R68s along with R40s. Plus a portion of the R32s will be replaced not all of them and this will not be the first time I meantioned this. So far their are 584 R32s as of January 2008 as 10 R32 GE rebuilts were scrapped.
Well who knows what's going to happen. All I know is that a prtion of the R32s will be replaced. It also suprises me that these cars lights don't flicker on/off like the redbirds.

no, in early 2007 a R32 N train was not rare. When the R160's arrived in full swing around June/July 2007, then it was rare.

thesubwaynut 3 years ago

koolmazin 2 years ago
thanks b/c i remember seeing r-32's on the n line. thanks!
irishany 4 years ago
some of these run on the n rarely. Also on the c,e,r, and f lines
irishany 4 years ago
There are no R32s running on the (N) anymore. This vid was recorded back in 2005 when R32s were common on the (N).
They wont be scrapped for another 8-10yrs.
D3Andr3 4 years ago
There's actually a cople of videos of the (N) with R32s. Someone I know also saw R32s on the (N) not to long ago.
kmothersil 4 years ago
I highly doubt you seen a R32 3 weeks ago. The N is 80% R160 with about 4-5 R68s left on it.

kmothersil 4 years ago
no they are being probably scrapped
irishany 4 years ago
those wont be around much longer the mta is probably goin to sink them like the redbirds
pilotboy087 4 years ago
they are no longer on the N. i have seen them handfully on the R, though
thesubwaynut 4 years ago
The MTA is going to replace a portion not the whole R32 fleet. Plus there is a good chance they may endure past 2010.
