I see two completely different players, every year the NBA drafts 60 different players. That is what the NBA thrives on, variety. No one can compare to Jordan, imagine if he wasn't the best player? Yeah, you could compare many players to Jordan, but something in the back of your head says that you can't change Jordan as the greatest player ever. This could easily be a LeBron/D-Wade/Magic Johnson/Shaq/Vince Carter video, but it would always include Jordan because he is the best player by far.

I believe if Kobe had the green light in his early years as Jordan did, he'd be near that mark.
Anyway, Kobe will never match Jordan in terms of accolades(MVPs, etc), he has the chance to match him in titles. However, Kobe's already better than Jordan in terms of skill. Their defense is just exactly the same, if not Jordan is a TAD better than Kobe due to his physical atributes. Offensively, Kobe's on a whole 'nother level.
