Christianity & the world misunderstand 1another. i was a christian 4 more than a decade under the wing of this man Pastor Zac Nazarian. By example of this man and his church I would have remained a christian, but because of the rest of Christianity I decided to pull away and stay neutral. Not all Christians are bad, most of them are seemingly arrogant, when really they're just ignorant. This church and this pastor truly are the exception. If u live in the southbay of LA i recommend this church.

Way of the Master is an extremely poorly written book with stupid arguments made by an extremely dim-witted person (Ray Comfort - for proof of this, youtube for Atheist Nightmare)

For PShields.... As Christians - we know the truth of GOD's Word. As Christians - we should be the happiest because of "Greater One" who lives in us. No matter what life throws our way - we can "Choose" to be happy or negative. I choose to trust the Lord Jesus no matter what and walk in His joy and His joy in us makes us happy. Choose to be happy today and not negative! :o)

I think the right word that should always be used is Joy. Christians have eternal joy that no one can take away because of God's Spirit dwelling in us. Happiness is temporary but Joy is eternal. We have the same problems as other people - even more with persecution and being hated by the world.

Happy/Blessed is the man who puts there hope in the LORD.... (to me - joy-happy go hand in hand). Why does there have to be such controversy over one word... "happy"... there are more important issues in life than to debate over a word...

I would never use a general statement to describe all Christians, like "We are the happiest people in the world." There are many unhappy Christians, and many happy atheists, Buddhists, etc. I am a Christian and I go in and out of happiness. Above all, I loathe the Amway approach to Christianity - fake happy, fake concern, concern to "get" something from someone - namely, a conversion.

I wonder too. However, knowing Zac for 20 years I would advice you to pray about it. Focus on God. God knows what Zac meant. God knew I would type this to you. I sure didn't. I just spent 8yrs on the wrong path, do to my impatience and selfishness.

Our righteousness comes from the LORD. Without CHRIST - we have no righteousness. For Believers in the LORD JESUS CHRIST - CHRIST gives us HIS righteousness because of the finished work that HE did on the cross for you and me... IT IS CHRIST RIGHTEOUSNESS IN US...
