Actually, Zero's sabre is a different one to the one Sigma had in X1. But Zero can use Sigma's sabre as an equippable weapon in X8. Too bad X8 is a pile of bullshit and fail.
@MigeulP X8 isnt that bad. Now X5 (absurdly easy, bad plot, bullshit endings), X6 (WAY TOO FUCKING HARD!), and X7 (godawful gameplay).... then we talk fail. At least X8 had a very, very good gameplay which I missed. And the bosses were at least a decent challenge.
@michelrpg I liked X5. Aside from the backtracking, I don't have any complaints that I don't have with the rest of the X series as well. X6 is quite possibly the worst game on the PS1 with its absolute bullshit level design, and X7 would've been great had Capcom simply spent more time developing it, refining it and making it better.
X8 continues with the cheapass bullshit level design, has a plot that makes no sense, even by X series standards, and requires a strategy guide to find everything.
@MigeulP X5 was just... absurdly easy even by megaman standards though. X6 was absolute horror on the level design indeed. X7 had awful controls, and the whole 3d thing was just ghastly. As for the plot in X8, well... it beats "omg zero returned from the dead" (again!). I thought X8 was kind of fresh, since it had an old school megaman feel to it, and Axl was a decent playable character (but still an annoyance, I admit). I didnt need a strategy guide for it, everything was reasonably findable.
Download this tune, get some nice headphones and kick the bass up and you will feel the drum kicks in your ears...fuckin epic tune!
