I bought one of those back before I was disabled and was making over 100k a year I paid 699.00 for it new in I think it was 2001 and I was in Florida on vacation and needed a camera for taking pictures of family at Disney world . I was also told it could use 3.5 2.88 discs . I only had 1.44 as my computer so I never tried 2.88. Could use try a 2.88 and see if it workers? I think the place who about it taking 2.88 .ere I bought it is still open so I could take the camera back as I was lied it
A science teacher at my school had one of these, I also remember reading reviews of this camera in Electronics Australia, I believe there was a model that could record something like 1 minute of video with sound to a diskette, I believe we had a later model of these diskette cameras at a factory where I once worked. These cameras are really pretty interesting really.
Like a week ago i got the FD83, that shoot 15secs videos and have a 0.8Mp sensor... i found it really good in macros and stuff like that, and while the video quality is regular, the sound is great
My MVC-FD75 is still in mint condition and I got it from a friend for free when he got a new one.

I just got one of these, the battery on mine is almost fully charged and it says it's got over 300 minutes of battery life left, not bad!

Anyone remember the 'Sony MemoryStick Floppy Disk Adapter'?
Basically an imitation 3.5" floppy, that took MemorySticks and let you read their contents in a PC's floppy drive.

"I know it was 'cause I remembered the model number... [long pause] I was... *one of those* kids"
That made me smile.

I found one at a thrift store for $20, but it was on sale for $10, got it because it remained of the cameras we had at middle school.

I have one of those, I purchased it from Bestbuy, I believed it was around $500 for it. I still actually use it for ebay listings.

I'm defenitely not a phography person, but what does the ISO actually do? My Sony Cybershot camera has an adjustable ISO from 80 up to 3200.

@talldude123 Read the wiki article; it's all explained.

I don't know much about these, but aren't ISO and Shutter speed separate settings?
