Well I could see this being useful for at least replenishing your pikmin if you just killed someone upstage. While they're flying off you could get a couple more whites or purples than you'd normally have. Certainly a practical way to sort out your pikmin so you have more of what you'd prefer, even if it isn't perfect.

like the video :) jus sum extra stuff here if u really wanna have fun with others;) one of the best is that u can use pikmin to block items (not sure if it can block super scope shots)

also, if u use yellow wisely, u can throw it in the way of pk thunder to block lucas/ness from ramming u (and of course red can block pk fire, always useful) and it can b made easier,if u do down and b in air, it swaps the order of ur pikmin, if the lead is red, all the yellows will overtake and then blue etc.

I know another trick: Play as Olimar on the "Pirate Ship" and after you have plucked 6 Pikmins jump in the water. All non-blue Pikmin will die. If you use this over and over, you will have only blue pikmin.

So in Pikmin 2 they acualy use thunder ?because in Pikmin one (which is the only one I have.) I've only used them for bombing and extra throwing.

They don't use thunder in Pikmin 2, although they are immune to it, similar to how reds are immune to fire, blues to water, and whites to poison.

Yes, but oddly enough, in one of the adventure mode levels that has poisonous gas (Which white is immune to) all of your pikmin are fine
