maybe i missed something, is it that the heat from the carburetor lifts the choke or, is it actuated by the temperature sensor locating on the cylinder head (used for water temp) ? tnx
@rumnom the needle is always out but when the choke works properly the needle comes out much more so it blocks the choke tunel. So there is no more fuel going in after few minutes. But you should know that you can test the choke by taking it from the carb, mesuring exacktly how far out is the needle, connect it to the scoot battery and after 5 minutes mesure again the needle should be more out then before. Also bare in mind that the choke canan can get cloged so no fuel goes in so the choke
@warezvz dosnt work properly then. Also you can take a can of WD40 spray and spray the choke needle and move it gently with your hand so evry dirt gets out and it works fine after that. What kind of scoot do you have, maybe i can help with a vid for you.

@FrkaPimp the heat form the choke warmer lifts the choke. thats why its connected to the electricity to activate the heater

Does this choke works the same on all scooters? I have 50 cc scooter and the needle is pointing out when is cold. it doesn t start.
