Yo llegaba a casa diciendole a mi Mama que el Che era un gran hombre. These boys are just saying what they have been indoctrinated to say and what they know won't get them in trouble. Turn off the camera and talk to them in private and you will hear a completely different story. I was one of them and I would have said exactly the same thing. No one wants to be the hero and stay in Cuba facing the consequences while the journalist takes a nice air conditioned plane back to freedom.

Notice how all these "Interviews" lean towards government boosting propaganda and the people interviewed don't have any problems showing their faces on camera. Real interviews in a totalitarian country don't show faces and disguise voices.

If the embargo is indeed lifted, do you really think you will be able to cope with your own capitalist corruption that will come with the money? How are you going to keep blocking the internet and the free world media if you no longer have any excuses?

This "Center for Democracy" joke is a just a facade for Cuban state security agents in the US trying to advance the Totalitarian regime agenda to have the American Embargo lifted. I visited Cuba right after the Hurricanes struck an NO ONE was allowed in the affected areas. Only someone absolutely proven to the state security could go in and do interviews. This joke should be called "Center for the Advance of Totalitarianism in the Americas" instead. That would at least be sincere.

claro, eso es lo que qeremos para nuestra Cuba, niños felices que no se tengan que preocupar tan pequeños de política ni de trabajo ni de fusíl ni de muerte. Esos niños solo repiten lo que les han enseñado que inafortunadamente es abuso infantil. Primeramente para ir a unas de esas escuelas tienes que tener unos padres que trabajen y que sean comunistas, que hagan trabajo voluntario, pertenecer al CDR al PCC, hacer guardias de madrugada, y resaltar entre otros estudiantes. Esos niños son manipulados, hablan lo que oyen. Los supuestos maestros estan obligados a enseñar la doctrina comunista.

Also the US goverment sells Millions and Millions of Dollars of Food to the Cuban Goverment and not even 1 grain of rice get to the people in Cuba All of it is for tourist that travel to Cuba. One people in Cuba dont make enough to buy a whole chicken to feed there family and they make Cuban Peso and have to buy the product in USD and in a inflated price.

The embargo only takes away from the Cuban goverment is the credit to buy products from US they have to pay everything at the time of delivery and in cash. Cuba has a history of buying with credits and not paying the debt on time. The embargo blocks Americans from traveling to Cuba. Cuban can fly to Cuba 1 every three years if they have immediate family (mother,father,and or brother). They dont alow Cubans that file political asylum to travel to Cuba due to that they where given a green card

because that communist goverment have arrested them for there political or religious view. There are Cubans in the US that go to Cuba more than once in three years thru other countries. Those poeple go to cuba to show off what they have in the US, sleep with prostetutes, or charge 100.00 to take a few things to Cuba for people. And make alot of money as mules.

What bullshit that communist country is teaching theses kids in school. How can an embargo or law in the US or another country block the freedoms of people in there country. Cuba teaches in school that the embargo keeps them from traveling, the shortage of food in the island.
