Similarly, if Americans want to contribute to Israel, that is fine because it is VOLUNTARY. We Americans has a bit of a fight in the 1800s about slavery; we ended up getting rid of it. If Americans want to go fight for Israel VOLUNTARILY, fine. Same for Europe, Japan, or Korea. But the US military does not exist to protect Israel.

As for the USA fighting Israel's wars, the invasion of Iraq was for Israel. Israel is paranoid that some larger nearby state is going to nuke them. So, they get the USA to take them out.
