The graphics don't hold up with me well and I feel like nothing was really accomplished in the movie...they didnt kill godzilla wich was the plot, they just turned him in the other direction so he will eventually come back...so i feel like the movie just went on and on and then they just decided to end it lol

Godzilla movies are apocalyptic fairy tales. And in fairy tales there is no logic needed. Who cares about continuation between the movies and the Why of things, as long as we have some huge monsters smashing downtown Tokyo?? Kiryu is actually not a bad name. Its fits the 3rd MechaGodzilla well. The Kanji Ki - Engery and Ryu - Dragon, when combined, makes Energy Dragon, and seeing Kiryu's attacks, it seems logical. Though it is confusing that energy dragon could get mixed up with Ghidorah.
