@melvinmaverick Well maybe if the party allowed four members instead of three (Which I'm certain you can find a ROM hack for somewhere), I'd use him, but I can't swap Cloud out, Yuffie's my favorite character and Vincent's the only one who I have a weapon for with a high enough Attack% to use the Death Blow Materia.

What I found odd was that he's the only Summon monster ever to become a party member in a later game (The Stray Summon from FFVI was originally named Cait Sith. That's probably the only con I have for my list of Pros and Cons of the Ted Woolsey translation.)

I don't quite understand why Cait Sith is hated. He is a rather strong Physical Tank, Has the Best(And most Broken) Limit Breaks in the game, and all and all, a slightly above average character.I like to use him with either Red XIII Or Barret, As both share similar(Albeit Slightly Stonger) Defensive and offensive prowess.

Poor Cait Sith has the dubious distinction of having the worst limit breaks in a game where every character is defined solely by their limit breaks. Really if you take the limits out of the equation he's really no worse than, say, Barret.

It can be manipulated, pressing Square rapidly slow's his slots down. However, I actually agree with you about cait sith being the worst character, as I find he has bad stats, an unreliable limit which can actually kill you, and such a bad back story [sorry if this can be taken as a spoiler]

I aplogies for the really late reply (what took me so long anyway?!), but as for Slots being "rigged" I'm not sure what you mean, but I read that if you press square again and again, it will slow down, alowing you to choose easier (I don't because I like random attacks).

Yuffie's a great character. Her hiigh Luck makes her great with most command materia, she's got only long range weapons and she's the only one other than Aeris that can heal without materia.
