@alex3426 Blame the heads of the buiness's All they care about now a days is multiplayer and don't care about the campaign. Yeah multiplayer is cool and all but campaign is where your game fails or triumphs. Case in point Killzone and Killzone 2. Killzone while it had it's bugs was considered a good game by critics who gave the storyline a sepereate review. The storyline was really good. Killzone 2 the bugs are gone but the storyline just was not there and didn't do too well.

Red alert 2 was the best strategy game I have ever played. Nothing before or since has come close. If they would make a game with those graphics and similar gameplay with just improved online play it would be amazing. I have tried to play online lately and they sold the servers to someone else and it is kind of a mess. Hard to connect to other players too :(

Yeah. That's what I was talking about. Not that the Westwood server was much better but the XWIS server has loads of connection problems etc.

Posting a link might be good for other people who want to get back into the game. It was awhile since I configured the game with XWIS but I think you have to download some stuff.

the plot of red alert is in the past, Albert Eisenstein use a time machine and kill Hitler by using a time paradox touch and since the time line is changed, only the Russians is rise to power and soviet union exist in the time line. Then the soviets march in Europe and try to conquer it. While the allies tries to repel the Russian invasion.
