  • Tiger made Furby? Completely forgot that. I remember having tons of these and my football game looking green. I can only imagine how many batteries I burned with these.

  • @KMerrill03 well that's interesting i have never come across a green one before! and that's so true about the batteries, you could never have enough.

  • lets see I had gauntlet, double dragon, and teenage mutant ninja turtles 3: shredder's last stand. oh, and a yoda gigi pet.

  • Good old Tiger eh. God. Im lucky/unlucky enough to own a r-zone and a game.com.....god knows why. Theres a upgraded front lit version of the game.com too, ill get it at some point though I dont know why. How the hell did they get the lisence for Resident evil 2 on that! There was a scrapped MGS game on it too,....just imagine. Some of the lcd's are so expensive now too, Snakes revenge and Castlevania are two on my list though!

  • @8comicbooknerd9 Oh i would like to see that upgraded front lit version then, as the screen is just awful to use. If the screen had been as good as the game boy or game gear it would have been, lets just say a lot better lol

  • why was tiger able to make talkboy based off a request from a movie (home alone 2) but not the hoverboard from back to the future 2? disappointing!

  • @AlirazaVideoGames I like your question! and they better hurry up and make the hoverboard because i want one for christmas. (I wish)

  • wishing your videos were longer :) otherwise another great video

  • when will the next video happen

  • @rturd1 Should be this weekend, or mid week next week :)

  • I'm rather curious on something after watching this. How can I tell how rare one of the Tiger Games are? I have looked all around the internet but am having a hard time getting the info I need. Thank you

  • Ha Ha Furbys....I'd happily managed to forget about them until seeing this vid. Amazing to think it was over a decade ago now....

  • @anderai Yeah I know it's crazy! time seems to have flown by. and sorry for reminding you about the furbys :)

  • I think I finally did but by then I was on to some other toy! LOL

  • @PWheat23 yeah those were the days. and now I know how my parents must have felt trying to keep up with what toys we were into when it comes to buying for my nephew and niece.

  • i have a talk boy

  • Man I remember getting the Talkboy one Christmas back in the 90s and remember actually recording Johnny Bravo episodes on tape and listening to them in bed before I got up to watch Power Rangers Turbo early in the morning This is actually true! Do not know what happened to it and just wound up lost somehow.

Great video once again and look forward to the series you will be doing.

  • man chip thats alot of tiger electronics games! good collection. i used to love these games.

  • Really looking forward to this series, Tiger are a fantastic company with some great products in their history. I almost wet myself with joy when i say that talkboy! I remember my sister had a baby furby and the "adult" ones would dance for it and try to entertain it

  • Excellent overview of the Tiger Electronic's history and products. You certainly know your stuff James.

Are you still doing those interview videso with other YouTubers? If you are, I would be interested if you would have me. Or perhaps in the new year I'm going to look into creating a gaming podcast, so if you wanted you could either be a guest or a host on the show. Though I need to get it all set-up and everything first but I thought you may be interested.

  • I waiting for when the furby would interrupt you while you was talking, how many times did you have to edit it, it's quite funny because I knew it would say something, great video.

  • @ArcadeMameMachine Haha yeah as soon as I turned him back on from the OFF position I knew myself things could go pair shaped and in fact at one point he sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in all sorts of different languages I uploaded that outtake to my Facebook page.

  • "A talkgirl?? but I'm not even a girl!"

  • your furby looks depressed LMAO

  • @SofaKingWeTodEd666 Yeah he was or still is lol I think over fed him.

  • loved the juggling, great video as always! (would like to point out your one of the few youtubes that never seems to get a dislike!) keep up the good work!

  • My eyes still hurt after playing that R-Zone.

  • I've started to notice, you kinda remind me of FilmBrain from TGWTG.

Just the way you talk, not by physical appearance or your voice or anything.

Just the way you word everything and how you speak.

  • @CannibalisticGoat I will have to go check him out.

  • Great video man as always, really enjoy your humor!

  • @GamezOfWar Well that's really cool :) thanks man.

  • That was great!

  • @tnt737373 Thanks :)

  • I've got a Game.Com. I don't know if I should be proud or ashamed to admit that lol.

  • lol i remember the talkboy

  • great collection on show mate, great informative video...

  • @Ready03 Thank You Barry :) it was a pleasure to do and fun to make.

  • Wasn't the Game.com also the first ever handheld to have online capabilities?

  • Great video man. I think Tiger is severely overlooked by gamers but I think it should be recognized and appreciated for its contributions. Everybody played these LCD handhelds in the 80s and 90s and while there video game consoles weren't that well received they still created some great toys that I fondly remember.

  • Is that a sonic 3 handheld

  • @Jeremy5028 It is :)

  • Wow!!! that collection is incredible.... Great video, very detailed

  • i cut up mu furby when i was 5'

  • A funny and fitting tribute to the toy giant. I look forward to your future videos on Tiger!

  • Man, i want one of those Retro Gems!

  • @gorance2000 There are plenty of the Tiger handheld's to snag up on Ebay if you are interested :)

  • Oh no Furbys! D: I remember those! XD Great episode, I like how you have all the handhelds lined up.

  • I think Tiger products sold well because it gave parents a cheap alternative to buying actual things. Instead of buying an actual computer that was useful for the family, why not buy a Tiger Learning Computer that can tell you what the cow says. Or instead of any of the game consoles, just get the little brat a Tiger TMNT game because it's the same thing, who gives a fuck.

  • awesome video chip, very detailed, cant wait for more videos in the series showing off their products :D

  • @MeetingFlipper Thanks Buddy, I am looking forward to releasing more.

  • A really good video tribute but I hate all Tiger products, they were so depressing and not fun. At least Nintendo's Game and Watch games were fun to play despite their limitations. I guess I was just disappointed about my friends all having NES consoles and I was stuck with a few junky LCD games.

I remember the Talkboy in Home Alone 2, I really have to question my motives for wanting that POS. Of course Furby was a nightmarish abomination. Tiger was great at making kids want garbage for xmas.

  • Do you have the Tiger Electronic Baseball?

  • @Kefka14 I don't is that the All Pro Basketball version ?

  • @Chipsturs No actually. It simply says Electronic Baseball. If you like I'll send it to you as a donation. I don't really collect that kind of thing.

  • wasn`t Tiger involved with the Gizmondo? or was that the other Tiger?

  • @paulspydar That was actually Tiger Telematics. That company actually doesn't exist anymore dueto the multiple problems that occured with the CEO who was linked to the Swedish mafia.

  • Great video bro! Loved the paperboy skit at 3:19!!! People went absolutley crazy over the Firby! Ur pretty good at juggling as well! I totally remember the talkboy, I wanted one so bad and when I finally got one, i played with it for weeks before I got it taken away by one my my teachers and my parents wouldnt give it back : *( Excellent vid brother!

  • @PWheat23 So did you never get it back ? I always wanted one at the time, I remember my cousin getting it for Christmas and I never got the chance to have a go :(. Yeah the Furby craze was mental it was as bad as the craze over Toy Story figures although I got to say I wouldn't have minded some of those :O

  • @Chipsturs i would say the tickle me elmo was the worse then those.

  • Am looking forward to seeing more on the Tiger products James.

  • @jboypacman Hey thanks :) I can't wait to release more of these it's been a lot of fun to make.

  • Oh great, looking forward to those coming vids! Great presentation James, really fun and enjoyable :)

  • @HalfBlindGamer Thank You Seb :D

  • Damn those furby's xD nice review mate cant wait for the rest :D

  • Hey Dan thanks for the support my friend :)

  • The way you talk and come across camera is so perfect.

  • @DarkSphinxx Well that means a lot thank you :)

  • I know very little about Tiger, so this should be a fun series! I enjoyed the wacky style in this video too. Very playful and random. Good job!

  • @MetalJesusRocks Well thank you! this has been a project I have been wanting to do for such a long time and it's great to get back to the handheld's and tabletops for a change.

  • lol, the talkboy from home alone! there is actually one on ebay at the moment.

  • @Zauchi are you thinking of buying it ?

  • @Chipsturs nah unfortunately not. Gotta save my money for other things. Stupid Christmas. lol. But I have faith it will show again. :)

  • No love from the significant other chip, thats alright you got that furby to keep you company on those lonely nights.

  • @TheCompletionist lol great comment that made me chuckle :)

  • I HATE the Furby!

It wouldn't turn off when I wanted to go to sleep when I was a kid.

    Sooo annoying.

  • @JamesIsHereBro lol yeah ours tends to stand in a box on OFF :D

  • Great video... I really enjoy these handhelds.. I am always looking for them.. I have about 8 now.. Great video.. I enjoyed it.

  • @OldSkoolBrian Thanks Brian and me too, whenever I see one I tend to snag it up, I would buy more off ebay but the prices are insane.

  • 1 view?.... i still doubt this is first comment though...

  • @chanson301 lol well it was the first comment :)
