You know, I just might have to leave the SOUTHEAST US to come see Hairy Mulligan. You are by far my favorite Youtube drummer. Honestly, all the various video angles really help me get these songs down. If something bad should ever happen(God strike me if it does), don't stop doing what you do. Even Buddy Rich played with two broken legs at one point. Great job man!

"Black Betty" was one of the first videos that I posted...before i experimented with the various camera angles. i do have a top angle view that i didn't use. Maybe I should post that one too!

@creekboy885 Pearl Vision VBX series with Birch shells. For this song, I had a very lightweight blanket in the bass drum. Generally, i use no muffling. I use an Aquarian Super Kick 2 bass drum head which already has a built in muffling ring which works great!

For instance, the drummer for this song keeps a steady double bass beat throughout the guitar solo. Also, i don't quite have the second drum fill down perfectly. He does doubles on his snare with his left hand where I only do singles....

Sorry, I'm a self taught drummer and don't know the first thing about transcriptions so I wouldn't be able to give you the notes to the song. Something that helps me alot when learning a song though, is a program called "Amazing Slow Downer" it's available for Mac and PC. You can slow down beats, fills and other tricky parts without slowing down the pitch. Great tool for learning...
