If so, you mind if I ask what gfx card you got in there? Mine can handle eve maxed out at 1920x1200, but as soon as I slap fraps on it just chokes and dies lol

Hmm... I have a 22" monitor with the same resolution, and max vid. quality, but somehow yours seems like you have more space on the UI and stuff... Do you run the desktop resolution at 1680x1050 as well? Maybe I just haven't gotten used to my new monitor yet.

@slick50zd1 - I used Xfire video, similar to fraps. I have a HD4870, quad-core at 3.5ghz, 6gb ddr2 1066 ram, and a fast HD. Recording video in either fraps or xfire didnt drop my framerate by much. All while running with 24xAA and 16xAF

@Cruel - yeah, and try making your font smaller so you dont have to expand the windows so much

I think its my ram / cpu combo thats chokin me down then... Cuz I only got 3.2 Ghz Dual core, and 2 gigs of ddr2 800... hmm. Me thinks its time for some new parts :)
